Aaron stared at the blue Camry parked across the street then at Logan.

He had seen him staring at the car as if it was familiar to him.

"Do you know who drives that car?"

"The car belongs to Barbara."

"You don't seem too sure." Aaron looked at the license plate number.

It was a good thing he had a really good memory.

"I'm sure." Logan said again as though he was trying to reassure himself of that fact.

Aaron's gaze flitted between both the car and Logan but he kept his opinion to himself. "You okay?"

"I'm tired." Logan said, leaning his head against the seat, a sigh falling from his lips.

"Take a rest, and I'll wake you when I'm at your dorm building."

Aaron drove to Logan's dorm but didn't wake him up. He waited ten minutes before shaking him awake.

"Logan, wake up."

Logan groaned as he opened his eyes, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He grabbed his bag from the backseat and opened the door.

Aaron got out the vehicle as well and walked him to the elevator. He saw a guy wearing a hooded jacket exited the elevator when it opened on the ground floor. He couldn't see his face since he had his head down, facing the floor. He watched the guy disappear out the door before giving Logan his full attention.

"Make sure to lock your door." He told Logan as he entered the elevator.

"I will."

Aaron smiled at him but the instant the elevator door closed, his smile vanished. He pulled his phone from his pocket and dialed Kyle's number.

"I need you to run a license plate number for me. Send me the results as soon as possible."

"What's the number?"

Aaron recited the number as he walked back to his jeep. "I have a feeling that car has been stalking Logan."

"Okay, I'm going to run the number then get back to you."

"I'm moving into the dorm Wednesday night. I need the room on the fifth floor. I can't have Logan bump into me unexpectedly."

"Got it. Anything else?"

Aaron's mind flashed to the guy from the elevator, there was something about him that made him suspicious but he needed a reason for investigating him. For now, he had no valid reason.

"That's it for now." He hung up the phone, started the engine and drove off. When he reached his apartment, he went straight into his room to pack his clothes. It didn't take long for him to pack some of his belongings. He wasn't going to take everything because he will still be using this apartment when necessary.

Resting the two bags by the door, he called his boss to inform him about his moving. With that call out of the way, he went to take shower.

His phone was ringing when he came out the bathroom. He walked over and grabbed it from the bed.

It was Kyle.

"What did you find?"

"There was registration for three new dark blue Camry in that area."

"What are the names?"

"We could only find two. Barbara Givens, the owner of the diner. And the other is Orville Jones, a retired teacher."

"Why couldn't you find the third name?"

"It's not registered in the system. But I sent the details over to our guys, so we should have a better result tomorrow."

"Did you run a check on the retired teacher?"

"I did...just a regular guy, late fifties, married."

"Okay, have them call me when the result is out."

"Sure, no problem."

Aaron sat thinking after hanging up, a few minutes passed before he finally deduced that whoever owned the third Camry was a college student. He got dressed, walked into the kitchen to grab the list attached to the refrigerator door.

He grabbed his keys and wallet before heading out the door. It had gotten darker by the time he reached the supermarket.

Aaron quickly grabbed what was on the list, paid the cashier and left the supermarket. On his way to his jeep, when he heard a scuffling sound then a woman screaming from alley next to the supermarket.

Aaron rest the bags in the vehicle, then pulled out his phone.

"I'm at the supermarket. Can you send a backup for me?"

"What's going on?"

"Sounds like a woman is being assaulted or could be a robbery in progress."

"They're on the way. Be careful."

No one else was outside of the supermarket, except him and an older couple but they were parked far away. Aaron cautiously made his way to the alley, he peeked around the corner to assess the situation.

Two guys were holding a woman at gun point. Their backs were facing the entrance of the alley, so that gave him an advantage. He squatted down to the tip of his toes, creeping silently down the alley, avoiding anything that would alert the robbers. There was a single light, although faint he could see the woman's face.

As he approached, she glanced at him but he shook his head to silence her. Aaron picked up a stone and threw it at a garbage bin across from him.

"What the hell was that?"

He threw another stone, this time in the opposite direction, taking a chance, he stood up. The robbers spun around, brandishing their guns at him.

"Who the hell are you?"

Aaron signaled his head at the woman to hide. He had to act fast or things could escalate. He grabbed the hand closest to him, spun the gun from his body and twisted the arm holding the gun. He flipped the robber onto the ground, spinning to the right while holding the gunman's arm.

Keeping his hand on the attacking arm, he took away the gun and aimed it at the other robber.

"I don't want to have to shoot you. Just put the gun down."

Aaron watched him intently, eyes glued to the gun. He didn't move until the gun was placed on the ground.

"Kick it away from you and don't make any sudden moves."

He dragged the robber by the arm that was still twisted behind his back, pushing him toward the wall.

"Now, I want you to turn around and put your hands on the wall."
