you run down the hall, racing to tom's door. as you reach it, you pound your fists against the wood, your heart racing. panic surges through you, thoughts jumbled and chaotic.

the door swings open, revealing tom's piercing gaze. "what?" he asks, annoyance lacing his voice.

"it's lorenzo- he- he- he was..." your words tumble out in a rush, breath hitching.

"calm down." tom interrupts, his voice steady as he gently takes your arm. he leads you inside, his touch surprisingly comforting. once in the dim light of his room, he hands you a glass of water. you take a sip, the cool liquid grounding you, but your mind still races.

minutes pass in heavy silence, your heart pounding against your ribcage. then, the door creaks open, and you both look up.

it's lorenzo, a ghostface mask dangling from his hand. "tom, she ran away-" he begins, running a hand through his hair, frustration evident in his voice. but as his gaze lands on you, the corners of his mouth curl into a sly smile.

you drop the glass, shattering it on the floor. the realization hits you hard.

"lorenzo," tom says, his tone suddenly cold. "i gave you a simple task. bring her to me. yet you failed. we're fortunate she came here."

lorenzo shrugs, a playful glint in his eyes. "i was just trying to have a bit of fun." he steps closer, the mask still hanging loosely from his fingers. you instinctively take a step back, your shoes crunching against the shattered glass.

tom's eyes flicker with a dangerous edge as he positions himself between you and lorenzo. "your fun nearly jeopardized our entire plan," tom snaps, his voice low and controlled.

lorenzo chuckles, unfazed. "oh, come on, tom. a little deviation won't hurt. you're too uptight."

tom's muscles tense, his jaw clenching. "this isn't about being uptight. it's about getting the job done without drawing unnecessary attention. something you clearly can't grasp in that empty head of yours."

as tom continues his lecture, your gaze drifts to the open door. it would be so easy to run. tom's eyes follow yours. "don't even think about it," he warns.

lorenzo notices your gaze at the open doorway. "cute," he mocks, smirking. "you think you can just waltz out of here? we're not finished with you yet, love."

your heart races, fear gripping you, but a flicker of hope ignites within. you calculate the distance to the door, weighing your options. "don't be foolish," tom says. "you won't make it."

lorenzo, relishing the idea of a chase, taunts, "oh, i hope you try." he opens the door wider, inviting you to flee.

tom lets out an exasperated sigh. "lorenzo, stop acting like a child."

lorenzo, his eyes glimmering with excitement, turns to tom. "ah, come on, tom. where's your sense of fun? i say let her." he says, turning his gaze to you. "come on, love. give us a show. attempt your escape-"

before he can finish his sentence, you take your chance and make a sudden bolt for the open door. but lorenzo, quicker than you anticipated, pounces like a predator, his hand gripping your arm in a vice grip.

lorenzo jerks back, kicking the door shut. he pulls you closer, your bodies almost touching. "oh, you're a feisty one," he murmurs, a hint of admiration in his voice.

tom watches, frustration and resignation on his face. "enough, lorenzo. we have work to do." he steps closer, expression stern. "we need her compliant, not scared out of her wits."

tom motions for lorenzo to release you, which he reluctantly does, easing his grip. your arm throbs from where he dug in. you dart between tom and lorenzo, gauging your next move. "what do you want from me?" you finally ask, voice shaky yet defiant.

tom steps forward, eyes locked on yours. "we simply want you. body, mind, and soul," he declares. "submit to us completely. give us your cooperation."

lorenzo leans against the wall, smirking. "what he said. be a good girl, and we might reward you."

tom shoots lorenzo a warning glare, then focuses back on you. "the choice is yours. cooperate, or face the consequences."

lorenzo leans in, breath warm against your ear. "i bet you'll pick the former," he murmurs, seduction dripping from his words.

tom's gaze bores into you. "you want us," he says. "the power we could give you... it's within your grasp if you submit. join us, and you'll see a world you've never dared to dream of."

lorenzo's hand traces up your back, his touch a threat and a promise. "just say yes," he urges. "say yes, and all your fantasies will become reality."

tom watches your reaction closely, voice low and charming. "you could have everything you've ever wanted. surrender to us. give us your very being, and we'll lay the world at your feet." he reaches out, fingers grazing under your chin. "look at me," he commands softly. "consider your options. submission can be quite pleasant, if you allow it."

lorenzo's hand lingers on your back, a constant reminder of their presence. "there's no need to be afraid," he assures, voice silky. "trust us, love. we can be quite gentle when we want to be."
