"well, i just don't think it's right for you to say that." she says.

she's confronting me because she heard me call someone a mudblood. i don't know if i should be happy that she's talking to me or embarrassed that she's scolding me right now.

"what do you mean? what's wrong with what i've said?" i ask, playing dumb.

she crosses her arms and looks at me with those piercing eyes of hers. i can feel my heart racing from her gaze alone.

she's staring right into my eyes. this is too much. i'm going to faint.

"you know damn well what i mean," she says. "you don't just go around calling people mudbloods. it's disgusting and cruel."

ouch. is she calling me disgusting and cruel? i'll have to admit, that really hurts coming from her. but she can hurl as many insults as she wants if it means she'll keep talking to me.

she keeps scolding me, and i just keep nodding. i'm not even listening anymore, just staring. taking in every detail of her face. the shape of her lips, the way her brow is furrowed in anger, the way her nose crinkles slightly as she speaks.

she's absolutely beautiful and i can feel myself losing my focus.

i don't know how i'm even going to respond to this scolding when i can barely hear a word she's saying. all i can think about right now is how much i want to pull her into my arms and bury my face in her hair.
