I don't believe in soulmates, but what I do believe in is two people saying hey the world is shit but when I'm with you it feels a little less shit and so they decide that they're going to stick together and make it work even when it gets really hard. And maybe that's romantic and maybe it's not. And somehow I like that even more, the idea that you choose to stick with a person forever. To love them on purpose.
