!!!!!!!!!!Author's Note!!!!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone! Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a good week. Mine kinda sucked because I'm sick and feel like shit. My band did perform at our bassist's birthday party last weekend, which was fun! I was way more tired than normal and on Wednesday I woke up stuffed up and feeling like shit. The upside for you guys though is that we didn't have band practice, so you get your update early today!

This week, Patrick's very long and detailed hallucination continues and will continue for a while over several chapters. Patrick is still locked in his practice room directly after almost being kidnapped. He's immediately overwhelmed and vomits in the garbage can. Then he calls his brother, Kevin and explains what happened to him.  Kevin is shocked and concerned. He asks Patrick if he called the police and Patrick tells him he called the campus police who said they'd drive him home when he's finished working in the music building. He stays on the phone with him until he's calm and then tells him to get out his laptop and write down anything he recalls, and then to call the police and make a police report. Then he asks if he has classes tomorrow. Patrick tells him he has some work to finish in the music building tonight and yes, that he has assignments to hand in and a test to take tomorrow, but that he's planned on taking his car there and parking in the garage across from the music building, which Kevin thinks is a good idea and asks if he can skip his classes tomorrow, but Patrick says he's not sure his teachers would believe him. Kevin tells him to make a police report so he had proof. Patrick agrees. Kevin asks him if he has a friend who could go with him to his classes with him and Patrick says no. Kevin offers to drive the three hours there to go with him, but Patrick wants to think about it and give him an answer when he gets home later. Patrick says he wants get his stuff done and go home, so they get off the phone, he does what Kevin tells him to, makes the police report, finishes his stuff and campus police drives him home. He goes inside, locks and bars the front and back doors, puts his pajamas on, orders some food, and sits down on his couch trying to process everything. He decides he will be ok walking around campus tomorrow, so he texts Kevin and tells him he doesn't need to come. Then he takes an Ambien, sits back down on his couch with his laptop and starts googling recent near abductions or disappearances around town, and is not happy about what he finds. The Ambien starts kicking and he goes to bed. The next day, he wakes up, checks his email, finds that all his professors told him to stay home except one and that teacher is threatening to fail him on the test if he doesn't show up. So, gets in his car, and heads to campus. When he gets there, he finds that there is a marathon going on and he can't get near the parking garage by the music building. He ends up parking two miles away and heads to his class, hoping he could move his car closer later. He takes his test, shows his professor his police report, rips his professor a new one, and then reports him to the dean and the director of the school of music who excuse him from all of his classes for the rest of the week without any penalty. He finds a place to sit and calm down and texts Pete that he has to move their meeting back by an hour. Patrick was having trouble relaxing so he looks up the hours of the marathon and finds it doesn't end until 9 p.m., so he won't be able to move his car closer. He freaks out about it and knows he needs to go to the park/garden to calm down so he texts Joe and asks him to go with him. Joe agrees, Patrick explains everything and they go to the park/garden until it's time to go to the coffee shop to meet Pete.
