!!!!!!!!!!Author's Note!!!!!!!!!

Hello Everyone! Happy Friday! I hope everyone had a good week. Mine was fine. I'd been sick for the past two weeks and I'm starting to feel better, but going back to my full teaching schedule was hard. I did it, but I'm exhausted and looking forward to not doing much this weekend. I'm also trying really hard to finish the Prologue Synopsis so I can return to writing this one. There are only two chapters left! I may post the next chapter later this weekend or early next week.

Anyways, this week, we are still in Patrick's hallucination. Gabe and Travie are planning on torturing Pete and Joe when they wake up from the sedatives the guards gave them. Gabe addresses the guards asking if Pete and Joe had given them any trouble. They tell him what happened. Gabe finds that interesting and admits he underestimated the length Pete and Joe would go to save Patrick. Then Gabe pulls Travie to the side so they can put together a torture plan while they wait for them to wake up. Pete wakes up and takes stock of his situation. He stays very quiet and shoots a look to Joe when he wakes up to pretend to still be unconscious, putting off their torture. The guards are suspicious and questions whether they were faking it. They inform Gabe and Travie of it who decide to test them by breaking something. Gabe breaks Pete's ankle. They both wake up screaming. Gabe confronts them about misbehaving for the guards and they spin it like they were the victims which pisses Gabe and Travie off, giving them a reason to hurt them more. Then Gabe confirms that Patrick is dead and transforming as the speak, trying to goad Pete, but he doesn't take the bait. Three and a half hours later, Pete and Joe still refused to break. Gabe gives them a break to check on Patrick before they feed on Pete and Joe, making it unbearably painful until they pass out. Then we check in with Patrick who was still unconscious but felt himself starting to wake up. He's incredibly confused and doesn't remember his name or who he was. He tries to think about it but comes up with nothing. He feels horrible and is in a fuckton of pain. He's also freezing and his body feels completely empty like an empty husk of what he was before. He panics but his notices it doesn't feel the same as it used to. His heart used to speed up and beat like crazy and he'd start hyperventilating, but he doesn't even feel his heart beating at all and when he tries to take a deep breath, he couldn't, but he wasn't suffocating. He wonders how this is possible, asking if he was dead, but he didn't feel dead, deciding that if he was dead his brain wouldn't be functioning at all. He's terrified and confused, not knowing what was going on. He forces his brain to remember who he was and what was his name, when he remembers his name and that he was a human/werewolf, but knows he's not that anymore. The more he pushes, the more he remembers, recalling that he was kidnapped from his home by an evil man who was experimenting on him and put him through some procedure twice. That's when he figures out he's now a vampire. The word seems to be some kind of trigger because everything came flooding back all at once, causing a migraine. It's just this jumble of events, people, pictures, words, sound and feelings overwhelming him and it took forty-five minutes for it to stop. He remembered everything from before. His brain hurt after that so he went back to sleep. Patrick wakes up two hours later and his brain felt better. Then he starts noticing how he could sense things he couldn't before that blow his werewolf traits out of the water. His hearing was better and he could hear things very far away. He doesn't but he's confident he can smell Pete and Joe, which tells him they are still alive. He knows Gabe is torturing them. Patrick knows his emotions are enhanced too as he thinks about Pete. It's all way too much for him and he's in a ton of pain. He gets angry when he thinks about what brought him here and vows to kill Gabe. After experiencing so much he's exhausted and goes back to sleep.
