Hello Everyone! Happy Friday! I hope everyone's week went well. Mine was pretty normal. I taught my lessons and practiced for my gig on Mother's Day. I wish I could say it was more interesting, but it wasn't. It was just busy. We don't have any plans for this weekend so it will be nice to relax. I do have to practice for my gig, but that's about it. I finished the Prologue Synopsis! I'll probably post the last chapter at the beginning of next week.

Anyways, this week, we are still in Patrick's hallucination. We skip ahead 3.5 hours or 23.5 hours after Patrick died and began his transformation. Gabe is doing pack/coven stuff trying to pass the time while Patrick completes his transformation. His phone rings and it's Hybrid One, whose real name was actually Todd, and was the head of medicine there. Most people called him Dr. Todd. Todd calls to remind Gabe that they had about 30 mins before Patrick would wake up and suggests that Gabe stop at the human blood bank and grab some humans for Patrick to feed on after he wakes up. He also recommends choosing three humans that Gabe didn't like and didn't care if they died. Gabe thanks him for reminding him and tells him that he will be there soon. Gabe asks him if he has any more questions and Todd asks where Patrick was going to live since he can't stay in his cell anymore because it would be too easy for him to escape. Gabe tells him that he would be living in one of the old torture rooms deep down in the compound which has no windows for him to escape. Gabe also shares that he's retrofitted it with silver chains and a 48 in thick silver door to contain him. They hang up and Gabe goes to the human blood bank. He chooses those who's blood tasted the worst. One tasted like corned beef, another like fermented Baltic herring, and finally one who tasted like anchovies and brings them to the lab. He knows he didn't choose things that were tasty, but since Patrick was a new vampire, everything will taste wonderful to him because he's starving. Gabe compels the blood bags to go sit on an unused bag and stay out of the way. Todd tells Gabe that he put Patrick in a private room so it wasn't so confusing when he woke up and takes him to him. Patrick is lying in bed with an IV feeding the original vampires' blood into him. He's lost all his skin color, making him extremely pale. His wrists and ankles were restrained with padded restraints, not the tight ones from before because when new vampires woke up they could actually hurt themselves with their super strength. Gabe tells Todd to make sure the final blood bags was either heavily sedated or anesthetized so when Patrick fed on them, he'd drink the anesthesia which would make him unconscious, or extremely dazed so they could easily move him to his new home. Todd says he will take care of it. Then they sit and wait for him to wake up. Patrick starts waking up, senses himself on a bed and feels the restraints he's in. The he starts noticing all the overwhelming smells and sounds. He can't discern anything and it's overloading his brain and making his head and ears hurt. It's all too much. He wakes up screaming while being blinded by the lights in the room. Gabe asks if he slept well, and Patrick says no that he died and turned but the transformation was exceedingly painful and how all his senses were overwhelmed and how much it hurt. He blames Gabe for doing this to him and orders him to fix it before he killed both of them. Gabe is taken aback. Patrick tells him that he's not going to play his games or put up with his shit anymore. He tells him to fix it or he was going to rip the restraints off and stab himself with the first piece of wood he found. Gabe agrees and calms things down in his head. Gabe then examines him and Patrick tells him that his throat was dry and burning and his fangs were aching like hell. Gabe tells him that means he's hungry and that he must drink human blood. Patrick is repulsed by this but knows he must. He tells Gabe such. Gabe brings the first human, then the second one and finally the third one. He feels strange afterward and then passes out. Gabe has the nurses change his clothes and then he's moved to his new home.
