!!!!!!!!!!Author's Note!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello Everyone! Happy Saturday! I know, I'm late, but I have a really good excuse! We went to see Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin in Fresno last night after driving three hours there. By the time it was done and we got back to the hotel, it'd been a very long day and I was exhausted, so I'm home and updating now! I hope you all had a good week!
This week, we see how the potion affected Patrick, Pete and the Pack celebrate their win, Pete goes to check on Patrick, and Spencer explains that there hasn't been much change other than the areas around the bite marks have blistered, are red and filled with pus. Pete asks him if the telepathic pathway into Patrick's mind would've developed yet, and Spencer says he doesn't know, but to try. Pete connects to Patrick and gets to work for a few hours, making sure he left time to talk to Patrick if possible. He is able to speak with him, explain what has happened, Patrick has questions, Pete answers them and offers Patrick space if he wants it to process everything. Patrick decides he wants Pete to say and takes this moment to profess his love for Pete and Pete reciprocates his feelings. Pete asks Patrick to fight a hard as he can and not give into how he feels. Patrick agrees to try. Pete tells him he has to disconnect, so he does and brings Spencer up to date. He also orders Spencer to train someone else to take care of Patrick and then go get some sleep. Pete also sleeps for a few hours. When he gets up again, he goes to work on Patrick, finds Brendon there, and asks him for an update. Brendon tells him that not much has changed other than that the blisters had opened and were oozing green, smelly pus. Brendon asks for help in cleaning the blisters, so Pete goes to grab people. Sara and Dan agree to help, so they go up to help. Pete connects to Patrick, looking for an obvious reason to why the blisters and finds he has a massive bacterial infection that is pretty serious. Spencer sends Brendon to the hospital immediately to get the antibiotic they need to treat it. He goes and comes back very quickly. Spencer starts Patrick on the medication and Pete connects to him and gets to work.

Chapter 130
********Trigger Warning for Discussions of Medical Conditions and Symptoms********
*Patrick lies floating in the white nothingness waiting for something to happen. He's still unconscious and feels like death is creeping ever closer to him, but he has hope now, and that's enough to make him not give into the way his body is feeling. It seems to take a good amount of time before he feels some kind of light or energy surround his body from every angle. It doesn't hurt or anything, but it makes his body buzz and the hairs on his body stand on end. This feels really weird! What's going on? Next, Patrick feels a bottle being placed on his lips, they tip his head up and begin pouring it into his mouth, which he swallows like he was told to do. Yuck! This stuff is nasty and tastes like shit! Bleh! Oh my god, this is so fucking gross, and there's a ton of it. Am I drinking this whole bottle? It's all chunky and disgusting! What the fuck is in this potion anyway? It tastes like a combination of dirt, reedy and chunky green vegetables, vomit, tree bark, something metallic, but not iron, and something that makes my mouth and throat burn a bit. Are we almost done with this because it is not sitting well in my stomach? I kind of have the urge to vomit, but we are ok for now. The glass bottle is finally pulled away from Patrick's lips. Thank God! That was probably one of the foulest things I've ever eaten or drank. So...what happens now?
