Chapter 150

Hello Everyone! Happy Friday! I hope you all had a good week! Mine was busy. I had to teach all my students in three days instead of five because we were leaving on Thursday to take our travel-trailer to Sonoma (closest beach to us) so we could do our memorial for our dog, Franz, who recently died and take him to the beach one last time posthumously. It was something Franz really loved, and my husband really wanted to get him back to the beach again before he died, but he didn't make it. We are here now and plan on going to the beach tomorrow (Saturday) and having a nice dinner afterwards to talk about and honor him. Then we might do something on Sunday before we go home on Monday.

Anyways, This week we continue with Patrick's hallucination. Pete wakes up after the attack and finds himself in their safe room. He sits up and looks around, finding Joe and Andy awake and discussing something, and Meredith, Elisa, and Spencer who were unconscious. He asks what happened, where the others were, and where Patrick was, and they are happy to see him awake. Joe starts by telling Pete about his experiences and how he was subdued. He said that when he woke up, he started looking for the others and came upon Andy first and then they started searching for the others. They'd found Meredith, Elisa, and Spencer. Meredith and Elisa had been fed on, and Spencer had been injected with wolfsbane. Pete asks if they are ok, and they tell them that they are stable. Pete asks what happened to the others and Andy tells him everything he found and what happened. He tells him that the rest of the others were dead and how they died, ending with Sarah. Pete is shocked, but Andy tells him that after he ripped the ones that killed Sarah apart that one decked him and got on top of him so he couldn't get up. They were in human form and compelled him to unlock the door and invite them into their house. Afterwards, they shot him with a gun several times and he passed out. Pete is about to comfort Andy when he screams out in pain from Gabe torturing Patrick. He's feeling Patrick's pain through their mark. Spencer wakes up and it happens again twice before Spencer asks what happened to everyone, so Joe starts bringing him up to speed. Three days later, Patrick is still in Gabe's dungeon and all his injuries were healed. He'd managed to contact Pete and warn him that Gabe was leading him into a trap. Pete figured it was going to happen, but they were still going to rescue him. Pete also told him about the others' deaths. Patrick was furious about it. Currently he was fighting the mice and rats away from his food with the chains still burning through his skin. Gabe visits, finds out Patrick's wounds were healed and decides to feed on him. He makes it incredibly painful for Patrick and increases his pain until he passes out. Afterwards, Gabe feels strange and starts acting like he's drunk. He makes it back to the door, but a guard has to take him back to his quarters so he can sleep it off. Pete and the others are having a pack meeting trying to make a plan to rescue Patrick when he grabs his neck and screams bloody murder because Gabe is feeding on Patrick, and Pete feels it through their mark. It continues until he passes out.

Chapter 150

********Trigger Warning for Extremely Graphic Violence, Gore********

*When Pete wakes up, he finds himself lying on a couch in the safe room in the sprawling basement of the Packhouse. This was the room that everyone knew to go to in the event of an attack. It sounds like something from a stupid spy movie, but there was literally a bookcase on the wall in the middle of the basement, where if you pulled a certain book, it would allow you to pull the whole bookcase out like a door, revealing a hidden door to the safe room. Pete sits up, checks himself over, finding some deep lacerations and bite marks, but it was nothing his body couldn't heal on its own. He looks around the room and finds Joe, Andy, Meredith, Elisa, and Spencer. He wonders where the others were. Pete hoped that they just hadn't made it down here yet, but he had a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach that knows that's not true. Meredith, Elisa, and Spencer appeared to be unconscious in their human forms. Joe and Andy had either dressed them or covered them with blankets for modesty and were discussing something between the two of them. Pete rubs his hands over his face and hair to wake himself up more and then addresses them.
