Chapter 3

Arden's chapter was perf! Who else thinks it was perf?

"I have a question!" I exclaim, interrupting their conversation.

"Do you wanna have a slumber party in my basement" Sirius sings.

"Do I make your heart best like an 808 drum?" James just about shouts. Then the three of us together scream

"Is my love your drug?!!"

Worm tail just sits in the corner being a creeper as Moony comes in from getting food from the trolley. I take a chocolate frog.

"Okay one question." He pauses. "What the bloody hell was that?"

The three of us hang our heads as moony walks past us.

"Woah woah woah! Hold it!" He stops and everyone watches me. "Moony....why are you wearing cologne?" That makes everyone's eyes on him.

"Err..." He says uncomfortably. I decide to be a good person and help him out.

"Back to my original question before the singing. Why can't I have a nickname?"

They all look at each but finally it's James who speaks

"Because you're just Eve, you just couldn't be anything different it'd be weird." Then he smiles sweetly at me.

Then James starts up a conversation and I can't keep my eyes from straying to his hazel ones, subtly though, when he isn't looking at me. Remus is though, and jerks his head indicating that he needs to talk to me outside.

"Just wait a while, i'll go now and you come in just a bit" I whisper, then, making my voice louder, say "I'm going to go see if I can rescue Jade from the beasts." I say with- a laugh.

I walk out of the compartment and turn the corner, leaning against the wall. I hear footsteps.

"Moo-" but it isn't moony. It's a certain Hufflepuff by the name of Amos Diggory.

"Eve!" He says brightly (he's always fancied me a bit)

"Hey Amos, how was your holiday?" I ask politely.

"Good! We went to see family for most of it. What about you?"

"Mostly hung out with the boys, stayed with James and Sirius for a month." As soon as those words are out of my mouth I see moony coming toward me.

"Well bye Amos." I say hurriedly. I give moony a bear hug and whisper "Amos Diggory.... He was flirting with me" I barely stop myself from laughing.

I pull away.

"He's gone...thank you..." Then I bust out laughing.

"Okay so you have something to tell me?" He asks.

"I could ask you the same thing buddy" I say with a grin

"Okay fine.." He sighs "there's this girl..." I kinda do a girly little squeal.

"And???" I ask and he blushes.

"I really like her but I don't think she fancies me at all.."

"Awww. What girl wouldn't? I mean besides me of course...we're to close of friends."

"That's the problem...." My eyes go wide and he quickly assures me that it isn't me.

"Waittttt. You say she's a good friend so that means you fancy J- " He clamps a hand over my mouth but I'm squealing. I rip his hand of my mouth.

"OhmygodyouguyswouldbethecutedtcoupleEVER!!!" I say in one breath. This time it's his turn to smirk.

"You mean besides you and Prongs?"

"What? No I don't! Why would you think that? Oh hey look it's Jade!" I point to the emptiness behind him and run down the isle, looking for the girl with the raven hair. But of course as I peer into each compartment if it has any guy in it they always wink or something like that. Do they really think i'd actually like them? I mean I've only had a couple of boyfriends because I have to really like them. One of them being Moony, but we ended it mutually and I've had one boyfriend after him that ended up cheating on me but whatever. Damn. I did date moony didn't i? That's how he would know I fancy somebody. Damn him.

When I finally see Jade's compartment I'm not surprised to see Evans,McKinnon,and Lightfeather. I'm surprised to see Snivelles though, looking as greasy as ever.

I slowly open the compartment and walk in.

"What are you doing here Jacobs?" Evans asks me, eyes narrowed. Jade looks at me with wide eyes.

"I came to get my friend Evans." I spit her name. "Got a problem?" I smirk.

"Jade. C'mon. I. Need. To. Tell. You. Something. " I can barely contain my excitement.

"This better be good." She growls and walks out.

"Oh and Snivelles" I say, looking at him with loathing, "looking greasy as ever" and with one last glare at Evans I flounce out.

"So what did you want?" She growls.

"Okay well-so...I kinda um talked to moony." She rolls her eyes.

"So? You talk to him all the time! This was your big annoncement?"

"Nooooo. You didn't let me finish. He fancies you!" Her eyes become the size of saucers.

"R-really?" She asks, obviously not believing me.

"Yup. But I better let you get back to your friends now. Wouldn't want you to get more mad" I say and walk away, leaving her knowing that she can't argue because it's true.

So I walk back to the compartment happily. As I walk in everyone is staring at Moony with open mouths.

"Hey guys. What happened?" Then all eyes shift to me.

"Eveeee.." Padfoot says, dragging out my name. "Moony was just telling us the most interesting thing."

I turn on moony with my wand pointed at his neck.

"How. Dare. You"
