Jade's POV

I'm sitting in the commons curled up on Remus's lap, arms lazily curled around his shoulders. For once, James isn't with Lily so it's all of us. Though, what he says next, shows that she's inhabiting his mind. "Hey Jade." he says to get my attention. "That's my name, don't wear it out, pretty boy." I tease. He brushes it off and speaks. "Why is it that you never hang out with Lily anymore?" all attention directs to my dumbfounded face. I had never really thought about it. It kind if just stopped. "I- I don't know. I guess I just.... I don't know. Why do you ask?" he shrugs casually. "She just asks about you a lot, is all." "Oh." I said.

Before I could feel too bad, Remus speaks up. "One another note, why don't you draw anymore?" I smiled at that. "I haven't had much time for that. I was trying to pass the OWLs!" I decided not to mention the drama of the year, knowing it would only cause tension. "Well then, get the sketchpad out and draw us something pretty!" exclaimed Sirius. I rolled my eyes but got my sketchpad off my bed. As I came back I warned them "Okay, I'll draw. But I'm a bit rusty so don't expect perfection." Eve rolled her eyes and laughed. "Just shut up and draw!"

I exhaled slowly as I opened up the book. It felt so familiar, like hugging an old friend. I had opened it to the page where I hadn't finished sketching Remus. I smiled faintly at the memory of not wanting to draw him. I squeezed my right hand into a fist then picked up my pencil and began finishing it. Nobody spoke as I drew. They just watched me as I slowly dragged my pencil across the rough paper. "Okay, I'm done." I announce and displayed it.

They all looked at it but all I did was look at Remus. He has the goofiest grin on his face. James rolled his eyes teasingly but I could tell he thought it was good. Eve smiled lightly and Sirius grinned. "You are amazing." said Remus with his goofy grin still plastered on his face. I blushed "Well..." Eve looked up at me. "You really are." I rolled my eyes and put away my notebook, curling back up on Remus's lap. It somehow, seemed warmer.

-Eve's POV-

I'm draped across Sirius' lap as we're all talking. "You know what we need to do?!!" I ask abruptly. Sirius gives a little cough and mutters "not in front of everybody...." That earns him a slap from me but a round of laughter from everybody else. "You know what I'm doing for a day, now?" I look at him. "Hmm?" "I'm banning you from being my boyfriend for a day. You shall just be my friend." I hop of his lap and go sit on the arm of James' chair, leaving Sirius looking at me with an aghast expression, making me smirk.

"So what I was saying was we need to find old Wormy a little girly friend." I grin. "Because moony and Jade are all...bleck, Prongs stalks Eva-Lily, and Sirius and I are-" I stop myself with a look at a grumpy Sirius. "Not dating."

Sirius is grumpy for the rest of the evening. I keep just reminding him that's it's only for 24 hours but he's just stubborn. Weird...people keep saying we're so alike. Am I really that stubborn? Pshhh nope. I'm so not.

As Jade and I climb the stairs she asks "you really just love to bug him don't you?" I laugh "well duh! It's fun! Don't you ever bug the hell out of moony?" She looks down and shakes her head. "Cmon! Really?" She nods. "The worst I've done is made fun if his book." I snort at her answer. "Well then I know what i'm gonna do on my boyfriendless day. Number one, get Wormtail a girl, number two, teach you how to bug Moony." I laugh and she rolls her eyes. "Whatever" she laughs. "G'night Eve." I grin

"Night Jadie Bear."
