Chapter 47

Jade's POV

I enter the commons to see Remus, James and Sirius sitting down. James looked normal but with a hint of worry in his eyes. Remus looked stressed but, as always, composed. He always knew how to handle himself. Sirius looked angry and had his arms crossed across his chest. They all looked up to the sound of the door shutting.

Sirius is the first to speak. "Why'd you write that about Eve? Why would you do that!" I roll my eyes. "Oh, shut up and calm yourself Sirius, it wasn't me. Marlene wrote that just to mess with Eve." I thought that might calm him but his eyes only get wider. "You told her!" I roll my eyes again. "No, Marlene just calls every girl she doesn't like a slut. She doesn't really care about the meaning as long as it hurts their feelings." Sirius puts his hands on his hips, looks to the ground and takes a deep breath.

Remus walks towards me. "Jade, I'm so do sorry. I should've trusted you. I really should've. I guess I just know that I'm not your ideal guy and I guess it just... seems logical." somehow that puts a smile across my face. "Well Remus.... My ideal guy hasn't exactly worked out has it?" he shrugs. "I'm sorry." I just hug him. My hands around his neck so I'm tip toeing. He picks me up a little and now my feet aren't touching the ground anymore. I kiss his cheek and he puts me down.

"I think Wood hates all of you now. I told him that you accused me of cheating." he tenses up then releases it. He knows a fight would be stupid. "Not much I can do about that." he says with a firmness behind his voice.

"Eve's mad. She's in the girls bedroom." said Sirius making turn to see him. "What happened?" he tells me and I shove him. "Why would you tell James?" I say sighing in annoyance. "Hey, you can't get mad at me for that! Eve told you." I roll my eyes because I know he's right. I then shove James "Why did you have to say that now you idiot!" he looks at me angrily and says "I didn't know." I groan. "And I thought Remus was bad in social situations." then I turn to walk in the bedroom.
