Jade's POV

"Let's get out of here." says Remus. I nod. "Okay. Carry me?" I say reaching my arms out. He smiles even bigger. "Of course, love." I smile brightly as he scoops me up into his arms bridal style. As he carries me down the stairs of the astronomy tower I realize that he's strong. I guess I had just always assumed he was feeble and frail but that obviously wasn't the case. "Well aren't you strong." I tease. "Well, I'm not a complete nerd." I laugh and kiss his cheek.

"So," I add "What'd you say to Sirius before you left?" he contorted his face in concentration. I had seen this face a lot. His brain was always working, the cogs of his brain always turning. "We didn't really say anything. We just looked at each other and silently agreed that I should go." I nodded. "Oh, so.... He knows im upset?" he looked at me sympathetically. "To an extent, yes. He is like a brother to you." I began biting my lip nervously.

"Don't worry darling. He'll be alright." "Not without Eve." I argued. "She'll come around." I looked at him genuinely curious. "What makes you so sure?" he smiles. "She's just being stubborn. But when she sees how Sirius is acting..." I began shaking my head. "He doesn't act like that around her. He lights up when he's with her. It's like... It's like" my voice vegan filling with passion. "It's like he's been blind his whole life and now he's seeing. He's seeing and he's absolutely thrilled. But then she goes away and it's like he's been blinded again. He's just longing to see again." Remus had a mesmerized look on his face. "What?" I asked. "I love when you're passionate about things. You sound... Amazing." I smiled. "Well, we still need to fix Eve and Sirius. I know Eve is in love with him. She's just too stubborn to admit it. Besides, she's still with Josh." Remus nods again. "We'll figure it out. Don't worry love." I smile. "I hope so."
