A-Eve's POV-

I told James to go back to the common room and not speak of this to anyone. Hopefully he can keep a secret better than moony.

I slowly wrench myself from the ground and stretch my sore limbs. I hear Remus and Jade coming. I shrink into the corner, hoping they won't see me. "Eve?" Shit. "Hey..." Remus is carrying Jade in his arms, happy grins on each of their faces. "What are you doing?" Jade asks. Shit shit shit. "Erm...waiting for Josh." I quickly lie.

Jade looks uncomfortable. "Oh..well um...that's nice." I can tell she doesn't mean it. "Yeah..well I gotta get going." I quickly scurry off outside, to the grounds.

I wander around for a bit, thinking and rethinking things. I look around at my surrounds and realize I'm in the forbidden forest. "Lumos" I say in a hushed whisper. I gulp, realizing exactly where in the forbidden forest I am. There's a waterfall and flowers all around. It's gorgeous and familiar to me. Suddenly tears spring to my eyes in frustration. I take a deep breathe and start walking back to the castle. Tomorrow, I know what I need to do.

Jade's POV.

I have Remus set me back to the ground and we look at each other. "What the hell was that about?" I ask. He shrugs. "I'm not sure." I grin. "Oh, so the amazing Remus Lupin doesn't know something?" I tease.he rolls his eyes but is smiling. We begin walking down the hall again and run into Josh.

"Hey! Josh. What's going on with Eve? She's acting weird." I ask. Something flashes through his eyes but it goes before I can figure out exactly what. He smiles then replies. "I don't know..." I nod. "Okay, but maybe you should go talk to her. I don't think she really wants to talk to me. She ran off before I could ask her anything." I explain. There's an emotion in his eyes I can't really explain but he looks as if he's thinking about something. "Alright. I will." his emotionless smile makes me feel uncomfortable for some reason but I ignore the feeling as he shoves past Remus to walk down the hallway, somewhat angrily.

"What's going on with him?" I ask Remus when we can't see Josh anymore. He shakes his head slowly. "I don't know but I don't like it. The way he's acting..." I nod. "Me neither." I add. I grab his hand and we began walking to the commons, looking for one of the marauders.
