Chapter 28

-Eve's POV-

"Do I look okay?" I say, flattening out my hair for the millionth time. I straighten my dress once more too.

"You look beautiful, as always." He says and kisses my nose. I blush and he laces his fingers with mine and we walk out into Hogsmeade.

"So what do you wanna do?" He asks me. I look around

"Honeydukes?" I smile at him sweetly.

"Are you sure you should have sugar?" "Please?" I give him my puppy dog face.

"Fine..." He gives in.

"Yay!" I kiss his cheek and skip into the candy filled store.

He catches up with me finally as I've got a chocolate frog package in my hand.

"No. No chocolate."

"Bu-but... I love chocolate..." I say like a small child.

"Okay.. Don't blame me if you get hyper." He says as he takes it from me as he pays.

"Oh don't worry, I will." I laugh. He gives me an alarmed look and, after paying for my chocolate, kisses me on the forehead.

I take the chocolate as we make our way outside. I open it up and bite off its head.

"Mmmmmm" I moan as I taste the sweet chocolate.

Sirius comes up to me and whispers in my ear "now why does that sound familiar?"

I about choke on the chocolate then slap his shoulder.

"You know you love me.." He says cheekily.

"Yeah I do." I say after I'm done eating the head off my chocolate frog. I peck his lips and hear someone behind us go "awwww"

We jump away from each other as we see Jade and Remus there, laughing their asses off.

"Jade... I need to tell you something..." I drag her off away from Remus and Sirius.

Jade's POV

Eve takes me off to the side as Remus stands there and talks to Sirius. I look at her wondering what was so important. "What is it?" I ask and she looks at me with an almost guilt but exhilarated with excitement.

"Me and Sirius. We kinda. Well." she stops and I realize what she means. "Oh. My. God. Were you... Um... Safe?" she looked at me and nodded. I let out a deep breath that I didn't realize I even had and said "Oh thank God! Well, how.. How was it?"

she looked at me excited and said "It was... Amazing." I run and hug her. "Oh my God, my little baby Eve is all grown up!" she shushes me and I calm down. "Well, I guess my news is a little less exciting. Remus kissed me."

she instantly squeals and hugs me. "That's amazing! With your commitment issues and all.." I looked at her startled "Oh God does everyone know about that?"

she laughs and says "Well, we all do!" she says referring to the group. I didn't know what to say. "Well then..." I say and that makes Eve laugh and hug me and we go back to Remus and Sirius. Otherwise known as our dates, something I'd never dreamed of calling them.
