Chapter 29

-Eve's POV-

So I told Jade that we were safe but the thing is.....I'm not positive we were. Sooooo...shit.

Jade keeps a happy smile on her face the whole time, she also just keeps looking at me and Sirius.

Finally Sirius whispers in my ear "you told her didn't you?"

"Um yeah.."

"Please don't tell me you have her details...."

"Nope. I'll save that for her and Moony"

We burst out into laughter, causing Jade and Remus to look at us strangely.

"Do you have a problem with our laughter?" We say at he exact same time. Then we look at each other and laugh some more.

"I think you we're right. No chocolate for Eve" I say and scold myself. "Can I have a piggy-back ride?" I ask him.

"Hop on." He says and bends down, allowing me to get on his back.

"I swear you two are too cute!" Jade coos.

"Shut up." I laugh. I'm in wayyyy to good of a mood to get mad at anybody. There's only one thing preying on me. Were we safe? Oh god I hope so....

So later we go back to Hogwarts for dinner.

I barely eat anything, which is unusual for me, and Sirius looks worried.

"Is everything okay?" He asks and pulls me close to him.

"Yeah! Everything's great. Nothing's wrong. I swear." Except that I might be pregnant. At 15. Other than that everything's peachy. Lalalala.

"Are you sure? You don't look to good. You should probably go right to bed, love."

"Okay." I murmur. "Carry me?" I ask, eyes open wide like a small child's.

So he picks me up bridal style and brings me to the common room.

"Sirius.. I have one question before you go." I say. He looks down at me lovingly. "We were safe right?" He kisses me on the forehead.

"Oh course. I wouldn't let that happen to you. Yet." He says with a smirk.

"Also tell Jade good luck, it week three." He gives me one last kiss and goes, leaving me to fall asleep.

Jade's POV

Eve goes up to sleep off whatever's nagging at her. I wonder what's going on. I look at Remus to see he's already looking at me. I laugh and he laughs too.

When we stop I say "Remus... It's been three weeks..." he smiles and kisses my cheek. "It's okay. It can't be so bad." I nod, remembering that, duh, he's not an animagus. He's a werewolf.

I kiss his cheek and go back to eating my gigantic pile of food. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around. Tyler Wood. Oh God. "What is it?" I say and Remus turns to see who I'm talking to.

He protectively wraps his arm around me and I squeeze his free hand to reassure him that it's okay. "I want to apologize for my behavior that night in the commons. That was completely uncalled for." did he seriously want to apologize now? Three weeks later!

"You could've said sorry when we were at quidditch practice. We're there a lot. Why now?" he shrugs. Most of the time I would want to help people not feel uncomfortable. But not with Wood. I liked to watch him squirm.

"I guess I just did." it made no sense but I took it. "Okay, I accept your apology." I begin to turn around but Wood grabs my should and spins me back around. Remus wraps his arm back around me and gives a death look to him.

"Nevermind." he says and walks away.

"Remus." I say annoyed. "I'm sorry, I just don't want him to hurt you." I smile and say "As if he could do anything to me." which causes Remus to smile.

Night came around and we were in the shrieking shack while Remus was about to... Change. But so was I. I was scared out of my mind.

"Okay, Jade. Time to change." said Eve. I looked at her scared. "Just think about your patronous." I nod as Eve turns into a dog.

I think about a black bear. And suddenly, I began changing. I was furry and had a wet snout. I am a black bear, and I see Remus change for the first time.
