-Eve's POV-
I look up at Sirius. "So now that everyone is staring at us...do you wanna get out of here?" I ask, everybody starts up their own conversations again and we walk out of the great hall, hand in hand.
We walk the grounds and see people on the quidditch field. I recognize 3 figures on the field. "Padfootttt let's go play so quidditch!! Please. Please please please. " I beg and he sighs. "You know I can't say no to that face." I smirk "that's kinda the point!" I try to smile cutely but it makes me look like a creeper. "Dammit! I'd be so much cuter if I had dimples!" Sirius frowns at me and wraps his arm around my waist. "There's no way you could be any cuter. You're perfect." I snort. "Trust me, Padfoot, I am nowhere near perfect." He kisses my temple and mutters "well to me you are.." "When did you get all cheesy?" I ask. "The same time you became perfect." He answers and I sigh. "So never?" He shakes his head. "Eve quit being difficult. You're such a problem child."
"Am not!" I argue
"Are too."
"Am not!"
"Are too!"
"Nope"
"Yep"
"No."
"Yes"
I roll my eyes at him. "Well since you're being mean you must give me a piggyback ride to the quidditch pitch!" I say and hop on his back. "Onward!"
Jade's POV
I'm playing quidditch when I see Eve and Sirius heading our way. "Half time guys!" I yell and we all simultaneously land and head towards Eve and Sirius. "Hey! So, what's the deal?" I ask. "What do you mean by that?" asks Eve defensively. "You know what I mean! Are you friends, enimies, dating, friends with benefits..." "Jade!" she exclaims, making me laugh. "Well, you asked." she groans. "Well, we're together." says Sirius, grabbing her hand. "Oh my God, finally! It took you long enough!" I hear a voice behind me.
"So, Eve and Sirius again, huh?" I turn and see Tyler. "Yep. Except this is for good, right?" I turn and look at them. "Yes." says Eve. "I hope so!" exclaims Sirius making me laugh. They're looking at Wood like his presence is irritating them. "So, where's Moony?" asks Eve. "Probably with James and Peter. I left to play some quidditch. Want to join?" Sirius grips her hand tighter. "Nah, I'm gonna stay with Padfoot. You can join..." she looks persuading and I roll my eyes.
"Why do you call each other those names? Padfoot, Moony..." asks Tyler. "Oh, no reason. Something we came up with in... First or second year." I try to make my lie sound convincing. "Okay..." he doesn't sound convinced. I look at Eve scoldingly. We really tried not to use their nicknames in front of people but sometimes it just slipped. "I'm gonna stay here. I'll talk later." I say. "Okay." she says, and leaves reluctantly.
P.s. I think Arden is trying to kill me with feels. We're talking about what will happen in the future of the book (you guys don't get to know yet. I'm not even gonna hint) and she's making me angry. -.-
