Jade's POV

I don't look up when I hear someone come into the commons because im too busy laughing at Remus's awkwardness. But I do look up when I hear Eve's voice. "Hey guys, what's going on?" I smile brightly when I see who she's standing next to.

"You are talking to each other again." Eve looked at Sirius then back at Remus and I. "Yeah, we are." I put my eyes on Sirius and look at no one else. I see he's looking at me as well and he says "Um, Jade. Can I talk to you?" I nod immediately as I get up and pull my hand away from Remus's.

We walk to a corner in the commons and he begins. "Jade, about the party-" I cut him off as I went into my desperate apology. "Oh Sirius, I'm so so so so sorry!!! I shouldn't have yelled at you! I was just so tired and-" he began shaking his head "No, no, no. I deserved it. I was being selfish. You've been the only one watching my back, with James obsessing over Lily and all. And I am grateful. And im really sorry."

I gave him a happy smile and shoved him into a hug. "Love you, Jade." my grin got bigger. "Love you too Sirius." and at that I ruffle his hair and sit next to Remus again.

-Eve's POV-

After Jade and Sirius get back from their talk I sit on the arm of Jade's chair. "Sooooo. What's up with you Jadeeee?" I ask, in a very good mood. "Well..Remus is reading another weird book." She giggles at him and I laugh. "Really Moony? That's sad that is." Everybody laughs and James comes charging down the stairs. "Hey Padfoot- and Eve.... How'd that happen?" He looks to Jade and Remus then to us two. "It all started with a Hypogriff by the name of Buttercup." "It's Merlin!" Sirius argues. "Let's ask him then! See what his name is!" I laugh. "It's Merlin! Buttercup makes him sound gay." He looks at me. "Do you have a problem with gay creatures? Would you not love buttercup if he was gay?" I ask in fake anger. We turn our back on each other, holding back smiles.

"Aww look at them" jade whispers to moony. "Bickering like an old married couple!" I just ignore the comment and Sirius and I both burst out laughing. I look up at the clock suddenly. "Oh shit! I've got a date with Josh! I've got to go!"

The air becomes very tense, but Jade breaks it with a fake smile. "Well have a great time." She says then looks down. "Thanks. I'll talk to you all later!" And with that in out the portrait hole.
