Chapter 7

Eve's POV

So surprisingly I didn't get expelled for running out at the sorting. I just got a detention with Slughorn, but there's only one problem, Sirius did too. But he told me it was fine.

"EVE! GET YOUR BUTT UP! FIRST DAY OF CLASSES!!" Jade screams and I open my eyes to see her sitting on my bed.

"Fineeee" I groan and flick a piece of blonde hair out of my face. I get up,change, and brush my hair all before the demons are up.

"Alice!" Someone hisses "Shut up of she'll hear you!"

Fan-freaking-tastic. So I grab my bag and make my way to the great hall.

I see a spot beside Sirius and one in between moony and Wormtail so I sit by Padfoot to give the 'lovers' some privacy.

"Padfootpadfootpadfoot. What your schedule like?" I ask him, hoping we have the same.

"Potions first, then DADA, transfiguration then Charms."

"Ooh! Me too!" I say, high on air.

"Why are you in such a good mood?" I familiar voice behind me asks.

"Do you have a problem with my happiness prongs?" I ask.

He just shakes his head.

"I can't find any-I FOUND THE BACON!!!" I shout and I hear someone behind me laugh.

"Jacobs! Eat healthy! We need a slim seeker not a fat one" Tyler Wood, captain of the quidditch team, say jokingly.

I playfully stick my tongue out at him and he takes my bacon.

"NOBODY TOUCHES MY BACON!" I run after him and pounce on his back, knocking us both to the ground.

"Evie... What have I told you about safe sex?" Jade says from behind me, making me blush and jump away from Tyler.

"Err uhh see you around Wood." I say shyly and Jade mutters to me

"Wood. Was it gooood woood?" That's when I slap her.

Then we eat as the peck of owls come in and I see my family's dark brown owl Cocoa come at me. I read the letter from my parents aloud

Eve,

So we've heard that you got detention on the first day of term. It's not unusual but what is unusual is that there weren't six of you that got detention. Just two. You and that Black. I just hope that no matter what you were doing that you were safe and used protection and I hope to god that you are not pregnant. I believe he is a bad influence and advise you to find new friends.

Mum and Dad

After I finish reading the letter four faces are full of astonishment and one is a smirk.

"Wipe that look of of your face Padfoot. You know good and well we didn't do it. You save that for your girl of the week." His smile droops but Jade grins deviously at me and mouthes 'slut' and I about choke on my flipping pumpkin juice.

I make a heart around Moony and Jade who both glare at me. Sirius and I burst out laughing our bark-like laughs.

"Oh god. We sounded like dogs..." I say, embarrassed.

"Well we kinda are." He replies.

"Speaking of which...." Jade says. "When do I get to be 'initiated'?"

That question startles me. Jade hasn't ever really shown interest in becoming an animagus. I look at Padfoot. Then Wormtail. Then Moony. Then Prongs. Simultaneously we all say

"It starts at midnight"
