Jade's POV
I'm sitting at a desk, taking the owls and I had an overwhelming urge to look at Remus, who happened to be testing a couple of rows over. I decided against it, knowing that if I just so much as tilted my head all the the would freak out, thinking I was cheating. Of course that wasn't the plan. I only wanted to look at Remus because his whole being just glowed knowledge. As if anything he's ever known was displayed on his skin for all the world to see. As crazy as I may sound, just looking at him helped me get good grades.
I sighed softly and began filling in more answers. Frankly, I was just hoping I'd pass the test. I wasn't worried about much more than that. Because if I didn't my father, the scholar, would freak out. I couldn't let that happen considering, if I may quote my father, 'I must be a good example for my little brother Carson because I'm the only older sibling he has, of course.' I squeezed my eyes shut to shut out the memory and began filling in more answers. What a long day it's been.
-Eve's POV-
So as it happens I'm seated all the way across the Hall from the marauders and Jade. My the wheels in my head keep turning and turning as I try to remember who Grubby the Gross Goblin was. I just can't think!! Why can't I freaking think?
I quickly sneak a glance at Sirius to see him leaning back in his chair, looking pleased with him self. How is he done?? I sigh and run my hands through my hair, thinking. I feel someone's eyes on me, I look up to see Sirius smiling at me. I grin nervously at him and he makes a pouty face at me, making me laugh. I stick my tongue out at him and he blows me a kiss. I grin and get back to my test, randomly writing down answers as the professor brings the tests up.
I quickly get up and make my way to the marauders and Jade. "Hey babe," Sirius smiles at me. "How was the test?" I laugh "ehh. Probably failed but whatever. You?" He squeezes my shoulder. "I bet you didn't do that bad." "Oh, but I did" I snort, making Jade and the other Marauders, who can up behind me, die in laughter.
"Padfoot! They're laughing at me!" I pout. "Guys! Be nice to Eve!" Sirius scolds. James playfully punches my shoulder. "Awww Eve...you've made him go soft." I snort again. "You seriously think he's gone soft?" Then I realize what I said. "Seriously, Sirius?" Then I just start laughing for no reason.
