We walk into the carriages, the six of us together in uncomfortable silence.
"So....it's owl year..." Sirius say uncomfortably, eyes looking at me trying to see what exactly in mad about but looking at Jade not wanting her to kill him. I surprise even myself by saying
"Yeah. I heard its one hell of a year." Jade looks at me nervously, then responds saying something about how Evans says this and that. I narrow my eyes at her as James goes on a rant about 'his lilypad'.
"Alright that's it. I'm done." I state, and before anyone can stop me I hop out of the carriage. I hear shuffling in the carriage with the marauders then I hear Sirius shout
"Lads! You are both being arses! You aren't caring about the girls' feeling and made Eve so mad she jumped out of the flipping carriage!" Thanks Padfoot...
I being to run as the trickle of rain turns into a downpour. I sprint and see people look at me weirdly. And I know I'm such a mess right now that people wouldn't think I am 'flawless' Eve Jacobs.
But finally I get to those big doors which open for me as I walk into the great hall. I sit at the very end of the table and run my fingers through my matted, limp hair. I hear one, two, three people plop down next to me. Wait....there should at least be four.
Moony's missing. And jade, I can tell instantly. Ooohhhhhh.
"So Eve...." Prongs starts but I cut him off.
"Just stop right there okay. I don't want to hear anything you have to say! Just leave me alone!" And I storm out of the great hall, just before the sorting.
I let the tears fall and run blindly through the castle until I just collapse. I then take in my surroundings and realize that I'm in the potions room, which isn't that bad of a thing because professor slughorn loves me. I just wait as the tears stream down my face for I don't even know how long until I feel a warm hand on my back.
"Evie-bear?" I hear a familiar voice ask gently.
"What?" I snarl back.
"C'mere." And then I cry my eyes out in front of I quote 'the most insensitive person in the world', Sirius Black.
