Jade's POV
After Eve leaves, all eyes fall on Sirius. He slumps down in a chair and pouts. When he sees all of us he gets angry. "What are you looking at?" it's then I sigh, wishing James wasn't so hung up on Lily so he could fix Sirius. "It shouldn't be like this." I whisper to myself but it seemed that more people heard me. "I called it." said Sirius with a scowl on his face. Remus squeezes my hand, trying to reassure me, but it wasn't working and he could tell by my limp hand.
"Sirius, it's going to be okay-" started Remus. "No it's not." sighed Sirius in such a hollow voice I was mortified. "Ive accepted that she's never going to forgive me. Really for give me, anyways." the lack of real emotion in his voice almost caused me to burst into tears.
"You may not know it yet," I half whispered while grabbing both his hands "But you're going to fall in love again." He shook his head after I finished. "No, I won't. But it's okay. At least I'll still be able to be her friend." he almost cringed at the word. Friend. I was biting my lip nervously, ignoring the soreness that followed. I didn't want to cry in front of Sirius since he obviously has enough to deal with so instead I stood up, brushing down the wrinkles in my sweater and left under the grounds of "Looking for James."
-Eve's POV-
Well that went well. Not. Like wtf it was so awkward. It's not supposed to be awkward around the marauders. Ever.I remember Josh saying he'd have quidditch practice today, so I make my way to the quidditch pitch.
I sit high up in the stands and watch them.
Pretty soon they take note of my presence and all 7 of them are staring at me. "You can't be here!" The captain screams. I don't know his name but he looks like a gorilla. "Well sorry to break it to you, but yeah. I kinda can." I smile sickeningly sweet at him. "Guys let me talk to her for a second." Josh mutters, earning a round of 'ooh's.
He flies down and walks up the steps into the stands. "What are you doing here?" He hisses. "Well, I was actually thinking of watching my boyfriend but I guess he doesn't care." I glare at him. "Eve, we both know that my whole team thinks you're a spy for Gryffindor." "Wait.." I frown. "Your whole team?" "Yeah" he responds. "Meaning you do too?" "Eve that's not what I meant-" I shake my head at him. "Save it. I've had far too many apologies from Sirius today and I don't need to hear one from you!" He spins me around to face him, pressing close against me, his dark brown eyes boring into mine. "You talked to him?" He whispers harshly. "Y-yeah but it was only for a minute or so." I murmur.
He presses his lips roughly against mine, but I push him off me. "What the hell was that?" I'm seething. "You belong only to me." He growls, low and raspy. "You best remember that." Then he forces himself on my and starts sucking my neck, making a mark there. "To make sure others know you belong to me." Then he walks back to the Quidditch pitch. My jaw is clenched and I set off back to the castle. I need to talk to somebody about this. Anybody, even Sirius.
