Jade's POV
I laugh at Eve. "Eve, calm down. He didn't right out ask you to marry him. You're overanalyzing it." she glared. "Then why did you say that!" I grinned. "Because I wanted to be entertained. Now, don't assume he means marriage until he outright says it, Eve. He probably didn't even realize what it sounded like." she scrunched her face up as she thought. "Fine, Jade. But don't scare me like that!" I laughed, harder than welcomed I suppose because Eve's next reaction was to shove me. All that did was make me laugh harder.
"How are you and Moony?" she asked when I finished laughing. "Well I suppose. Why do you ask?" I said that all as I pinned my hair up with a spare inkless quill. She shrugged and stared down at the cover of my History of Magic book. "I don't know. I guess I'm just curious. Do we ever just sit and talk anymore?" the corner of my mouth slightly turns up. "No, no we don't. Our lives have been a bit too complicated this year." she smiled a bit too. "Yeah, I guess they have. Owls are coming soon." "Ugh! Don't remind me!" I groaned. She laughed. "How prepared are you?" I rolled my eyes playfully. "As prepared as I am every year." "So, not at all?" she teased. "Percisely." that put us both in a fit of laughter.
"God, I hope we pass." she sighed. "You're not the only one. The only reason I know half the things I do is because Remus is my teacher. He wants to teach, you know." I Drifted off topic. She smiled faintly. "He would, wouldn't he?" I smiled. "He's so good at it. He could teach anyone. Hell, he taught me!" she smiled even bigger. "Is he the only boyfriend you'd ever loved?" the question took me aback but I knew the answer immediately. "Yes. Yes. I had never even considered loving any other one except him. At first it was just because I didn't want to be the one to break Remus's heart but then- I just..." I signed in delight at the memory. "I just fell in love with him." I was smiling without realizing it. "As stupid as it sounds." i added in a less passionate voice. She shook her head. "It's not stupid."
We just sat there in silence for a moment. It wasn't an awkward silence, not in the slightest. We just sat their and remembered all of the insanely crazy things that had happened this year and how we would never be the same because of them and how completely okay that was. How it made us better and weirder and just... Different. "Goodnight Jade." Eve broke our moment of silence. "Night." my barely audible voice replied and we both went to bed, just like that.
So I'm just gonna skip to O.W.L.s now. I'm too lazy to write anything else. Love y'all.

-Eve's POV-
"Eve. Get up."
"Mrfhhh"
"Eve...."
"Dhdfdgbbg"
"Do you want me to get Sirius in here?" Jade teases.
"I'm up!" I screech and jump out of bed, causing Jade to laugh. She raises an eyebrow. "I would've thought you wanted him here. In your bed." She winks.
"I'll hit you." I threaten and she backs off.
"Sooo....you ready for owls today?" She asks, making me snort. "Hell no I'm not. My boyfriend isn't as helpful at academics as yours is." She grins and I head off to change.
As jade and I walk down into the common room, we're bombarded. "Padfoot. Let go." I say sternly. He,of course, doesn't so I'm forced to make him get off me. Jade, seeing my dilemma, tries to help.
"Eve says you aren't as smart as moony. " Sirius lets go of me and turns me around, looking at me with a puppy dog face. "Did you really?" He pouts and I pat his head. "No. I didn't, jade just likes to lie to people." I laugh.
Sirius wraps his arm around me and we make our way down to the Great hall, talking about our upcoming O.w.l.s
