Jade's POV
We step out of the train and I sigh heavily. "You alright, love?" I feel a hand on my shoulder and I turn to see Remus looking slightly concerned. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine." I pull his hand off of my shoulder and lock hands with him. "You know, we're going to make plans to meet up immediately, don't you?" he asked. I smiled. "Of course, but... It's so... Weird. Everything's different now." Remus shakes his head a slightly chuckles.
"Of course it is. Everything always changes. Nothing every really stays the same. Because sometimes, one thing can change your perspective on everything. And then everything is different." his eyes widen and he raises his head indicating he just thought of something. "But really, nothing changed." I look up at him, confused at him contradicting something he just said. "Nothing except for you." I shook my head and pushed him away. "What?" he laughed. "Stop knowing everything!" he laughed harder. "I can't help it!" I almost forgot that the rest of the marauders were still there until James spoke up. "It's true. I believe he has some sort of disease. Know-it-all-itis. The only way to get rid of it is by having a dumb-sectomy. I advise you don't give it to him, it could be fatal."
I laughed while Remus rolled his eyes. "I love your jokes." I sighed, almost without my violation. "Awww, look at Jade, getting sappy." said Eve teasingly. I pushed her and she fell against Sirius, who pushed her back up onto her feet. "If you didn't have such a heroic boyfriend, you would've fallen flat on your arse..." I pouted. "See!" she exclaimed. "You even complimented Padfoot while insulting me! What a sap!" I considered pushing her again but I didn't. "Hey Lupin?" I asked. He looked at me. "Will you get my trunk?" he looked like he was about to say no but I added "Please, love?" he gave in. "Okay, sweetheart." he kissed my forehead and went to get our trunks.
Eve came back first. "Eve..." I sighed. "Yeah?" she replied. "This has been one hell of a year." she laughed at that. "Yeah... We didn't talk as much as we should've." I nodded, thinking the same thing. "It was a pretty stressful year." I added she nodded.
"You know, your theory about Wood liking me?" she looked irritated that I brought it up but said she had remembered. "Turns out, it wasn't wrong. He told me." she grinned in that, I told you so, way. "I knew it! Why didn't you tell me?" I shrugged. "Him liking me isn't going to change anything. I love Remus. Some truth is better untold." she nodded. "But then why did you just tell me?" I laughed because of the tension and replied. "Well, I had to tell someone." she laughed and we hugged. As we were hugging I heard a voice.
"Oh, well looks like Jade isn't the only sap." it was obviously James's voice. Eve kicked him in the shin and he yelped. "I've gotta go." I sighed, taking my trunk from Remus. "You know, you could introduce me to your parents now." he tried to persuade me. I shook my head and he dropped it.
"Bye guys." I hugged Sirius, then Eve, and when I came around to James he picked me up and swung me around causing me to let out shrieks of laughter. When he finally put me down I go to Remus. I hug him tightly then kiss him. "I'll write to you soon, love. Promise." he whispered. I nodded. "I'll write to you all!" I called while walking away. "You better!" called back Eve. I rolled my eyes, smiling and reluctantly left. Making plans to meet with them the entire time.
-Eve's POV-
Jade walks away, leaving me with the marauders. "I'm gonna miss you guys so much!!" I pout, looking at Sirius in particular. "Well, like Jade said, we'll make plans immediately." Remus says, looking between me and Sirius. "Good. I don't think I'd be able to live with a Marauder-free summer. " I laugh.
"Evie bear, don't tell me you've gone soft!" James exclaims. "Oh don't worry, prongsie dear, I'm still fabulous as ever" I laugh and he grins. I check the time. "Guys... " I sigh. "It's about time I leave." I give them a lopsided smile as James collapses at me feet. "You're going to leave me with him?!" He points to Sirius. "For the whole summer?" I laugh and pry him off my legs. "Well, I don't sympathize with you there, honestly, I'd love to spend the whole summer with him." Sirius and Remus laugh as James get a hurt look on his face. I pat his head.
"Sorry, dearie, but I kinda love him." I grin and Sirius coughs. "Kinda?" "Fine! I love you happy?" He smirks at me. "Very." James is making gagging faces behind us that I can see out of the corner of my eye. I turn around quickly and tackle James in a hug. "You know you're soooo going to miss me over the holidays." I giggle. "I don't doubt that, i'll be wanting you back when he's complaining all summer about how he misses his Eve." I chuckle and go over and hug Remus. "Hey moony, I don't think I got to tell you this before but if you hurt Jade in any way, shape, or form I will hurt you, kay?" He laughs slightly. "Funny, that's the same thing she said to me when WE started dating." I sigh. "Can we please not talk about that? Especially with my parents coming soon." I mutter and pull away.
I turn to Sirius. "Hey Padfoot." He grins. "Hey EvieBear" I walk over to him and he engulfs me in a bone-crushing hug. "I'm gonna miss you so much." I mutter and he squeezes me harder. "I'm gonna miss you too." I give a small grin and say "try not to annoy Prongs too much, he'll most likely complain to me." He laughs and agrees not to. I pull away and he swiftly kisses me softly. I break the kiss and whisper "Bye Sirius, I love you."
