Jade's POV
We hop on the train and unlike every other year, I don't feel like crying. I feel more connected with them than any other year. I curl up next to Remus in the compartment, wrapping my arms around his neck, even though there's plenty of room on the bench. I know it seems clingy but I just can't help it. Of course he reciprocates by wrapping both his arms around my waist and pulling me onto his lap.
"Oh God.... So couple-y.... Ugh!" says James. "Oh shut up, Prongs. You'd be the same way if Lily were here." said Eve making me silently laugh. I could feel Remus laughing and smiled even more. Eve and Sirius were holding hands. Everything was going great. "So Jade, when am I going to meet your parents?" I sigh heavily. "How about.... Never? I mean, we could just runaway together and never have to see them again." I say, a bit more seriously than required. I actually began considering it a bit then he began laughing. "I'm going to have to meet them eventually. What are you so worried about?" I shook my head. "Nothing... Just nothing."
"Now that I really think about it, I have never even seen your parents. How about you guys?" said Remus. They all simultaneously mumbled no's. "It'slike we don't even know you." Sirius fake pouted. I burrowed my face into Remus's neck. "This is going to be a long summer..." I mumbled they all laughed and, much to my relief, dropped the subject.
-Eve's POV-
I'm really glad they dropped the subject of parents altogether. I know Jade's parents, and let me tell you, they are not nice people.
"So what're you all doing over the summer?" Jade asks all of us.
I think for a minute before answering, "well, you know me, a little bit of this and that" Sirius raises his eyebrows at me. "Does that mean you're gonna cheat on me with some farm boy muggle?" He asks, making me grin. "Yes, Padfoot," I answer "that's exactly what that means." I kiss his nose and we all laugh at the puzzled look on his face.
After stories of the past 5 years at Hogwarts, and many chocolate frogs, the conductor finally calls that we'll be at the Platform soon. My stomach drops, I'm not ready to see my parents, even though Jade says they're great. The thing is that they weren't very happy when Remus and I broke up, they seem to think that nobody is good enough for me, except for Remus. Except Sirius is VERY different from Moony.
Like the fact that he's never civil to adults. Or that he can make a joke about everything, both those things I love about him don't get me wrong, but my parents won't. There's also the fact that its a very serious relationship( if you get my drift) and Sirius really can't seem to hide things like that. But oh well, they'll just have to get over it. "You ready to go?" Sirius asks, breaking me from my thoughts. He hold out his hand and I take it. "Yeah, let's go"
