Chapter 25

Jade's POV

After dinner Eve tells me what happened. I flipped out. "Oh Eve, I'm so happy! I'm just so happy!" I shove her into a hug. "Yeah yeah, I know but what happened? You didn't sit with me or Moony. What's going on?" I shrug. "Well, I guess I owe him an apology. I'm just glad I didn't put any money on you and Sirius's relationship."

Eve gave a laugh as she said "What?" I told her what happened and she gave me a sympathetic look. But she didn't say anything particularly comforting. Instead she said "Jade, you've got to work this out with him. Really." I groan. "I know. I just wish I wouldn't have said anything in the first place."

Eve rolls her eyes then says "Why are you telling me this when you could be telling him?" She spins me towards the door and I walk into the commons room where the boys and a couple of others, including Wood, are hanging out.

"Hey Jade come to hangout?" asks James. "Nah, I deal with you people enough. I've come to talk to Remus." Remus gets up and I take his hand and begin walking towards a corner so we can talk alone.

I hear some whistles and Oooohs and one person saying "Your in trouble now Lupin!" But I just roll my eyes.

"Hey, I just want to apologize for snapping earlier. I shouldn't have yelled at you considering that you were just trying to help. I'm an ass aren't I?" I give an airy little laugh at the end .

"It's okay sweetheart. You were angry and I chose an awful combination of words for the situation. I'm sorry." I wrap him into a hug and the guys start whistling again. I stand up on my tiptoes and give his a kiss on he cheek. I feel him smile when I hear whistles.

I hear one person say "Plant one on her Lupin!" and I pull away.

I was walking away when I hear "Hey beater, give the man some action!" I turn around knowing it's Tyler Wood. "Tyler leave her alone." Remus says. "She must not like you very much. Maybe she wants someone else." I walk up to Tyler.

"Are you drunk?" I ask him. I could tell by the way he slurred his words. "Maybe. What's it to you?"

I smiled and said "Because if I'm able to push you down to the ground sober imagine what I could do to you while your drunk." and at that I walk up the stairs.

Midnight came quickly and we all went into the shrieking shack. James was stirring up a potion when I get there. It's dark purple but it's glowing and is sparkly.

"This is what will turn you into an animagus. It will take about three weeks but then you'll become whatever animal your patronous is." I smile excited but tired at the same time. "Okay, now all you need to do is conjure up your patronous."

I smile. "Oh, and my patronous is a black bear." He smiles, obviously tired from the day.

Everyone else is there but they're all in animagus form. I point my wand, thinking of the the best moment in my life and say "Expecto Patronum." almost a whisper but it enters into the potion.

I stop and James tells me to drink it. I down it and it's painful. It's like that for a while then turns less irritating as my body gets use to it. I am now an animagus.
