Jade's POV
I walk out of the room and instead of finding Remus I try to find Lily and the rest. I don't think Lily was trying to be mean but I know for a fact Marlene was. She was very hot headed and didn't really consider other peoples feeling when she spoke. Why were we friends again? It didn't matter.
But that was not the only problem. Sirius was broken. Bad. He was awfully hurt. The most hurt I'd ever seen him. It was breaking my heart to see him like this. I see somebody and realize it's Lily. I run to her and tap on her shoulder.
She turns around and says "Oh Jade, I'm so so sorry about what happened! I know Marlene can be a little angry at times and" cutting her off I say "No, no, it's okay! I was just coming to say the same to you." Lily smiles and says "You don't need to be sorry." I gave her a hug and told her I needed to find the others.
I walked down a couple of corridors and found Marlene. I didn't want to walk up to her but I knew I had to. I walked up to her tapped on her shoulder and immediately began talking before she could snap at me.
"I know you're really really mad at me and I'm sorry. I didn't mean for any of that to happen and" and then I was cut off. "It's alright. I snapped, you snapped it's alright." I hugged her but she didn't hug back. "Thank you!" I said then ran off so I could talk to Sirius.
I found the boys in the commons room and Sirius was sitting in a chair his hand covering his eyes. James and Remus were sitting on some side tables and Peter was standing behind him. They all looked up to the sound of the door closing.
Sirius got up and walked towards me. "What did she say?" I look at him with sadness. He's a mess. He's not crying but his hair is awful his eyes are cloudy and his face is full of distraught.
I wanted to tell him that it was all alright and that things would work itself out but instead I say "How long have you liked her?" He looked confused. But at that point he probably would've answered any question. "Um... I don't know... Probably...." he was trying desperately to answer this question as if it meant life or death.
"Sirius, calm down. Just think about it for a moment." He walked backwards towards his seat them dropped himself down on it. "When I comforted her in the potions room." I nodded as I walked over to him.
"She's angry." I wasn't done but Sirius cut in. "I know she's angry! What the hell do you think I think? That she's the happiest girl in the world?" I roll my eyes. "Could you let me finish? She doesn't like that everything started out fake." Sirius looked confused.
"Then why would she end it when she knows how I feel?" I shake my head. "I'm going to have to thoroughly explain this, aren't I?" all of the boys nod and I begin explaining.
