-Eves POV-
"Why're you acting so weird?" Jade asks.
"What do you mean? I'm not acting weird." I reply nonchalantly.
She sighs and walks off.
Well. Someone's in a pissed off mood. What if it was because I was there?!? What if I was in the middle of their 'date'? Oh my god!!! I NEED TO TALK TO SIRIUS.
"Sirius!" I hiss, when I find him in the common room with the marauders.
"What?" He asks and turns onward me. Then, seeing my face, he gets up and we both walk out.
I tell him everything that happened and he's awestruck.
"But what about Moony?" He asks.
"Well he isn't the type of guy she normally dates, Wood is. I'm actually surprised she didn't go out with him before."
"Then what do we do? She'll lie if we ask her."
I grin evilly. "Oh I know what we do. We spy"
Jade's POV
I walk into the commons and see Eve and Sirius talking. "Hey." I say casually and they look up at me surprised. I look at them curiously. What's going on? Eve's been acting weird and now Sirius? This was getting annoying. "Hey." says Sirius.
I walk up to them to try and start a conversation. "So, what's going on?" I ask. They're squirming for answers. Finally Sirius speaks. "Nothing, just chatting with Eve. How was quidditch practice?"
Finally, something normal to talk about. I didn't really want to talk about it but it was about all there was to talk about so I say "Alright. But I guess no matter what stance I'm in it's wrong according to Wood." Sirius nods a bit and Eve is looking at him, possibly trying to tell him something.
He says "Hmmm..." this was getting weird. "Is something wrong?" I ask. Sirius quickly replies "No, no. Just wondering." while shaking his head. we stand there for a moment in silence then Sirius says "Do you plan on practicing with Wood again?"
I think about it for a moment then reply with my honest answer. "No. Not unless it's a scheduled team practice." Sirius nods and seems to be thinking about something. Then Eve says "Why not?" which makes me want to laugh but I don't. She should know that I didn't like hanging out with Wood more than I have to.
"I don't know. Just weird I guess." and with that Eve flashes a look at Sirius. This was starting to frustrate me, not being filled in on what's going on. I try to hide my rage as I say "Is there something you'd like to tell me?" but it peaks through just a bit.
"No." says Eve quickly. That was an awful lie but I don't try to get any further with this. "Okay, well I'm going to go do our DADA homework now." I say and walk into the bedroom.
