Episode 52:

DH: From today, this person is responsible for design team B, Kim Min Joo. I don’t need say much, because you should already know her accomplishments. Introduce yourself.  

Designer Kim: I am Kim Min Joo. I don’t know what I am responsible for. Just complete the job you are responsible for..just don’t trouble/bother me. I’m done speaking.

DH: And this person is…

Designer Kim:  I will introduce him He is my assistance, whom is a contract worker for three months, Gong Joon Soo.

 JS: Seniors, I am Gong Joon Soo. Please take care of me.

Designer Kim: The job he is responsible for is to brew coffee for me. In regarding to design, he has no knowledge in it. So, don’t have any expectation. Ah…is there anyone older than me in here? Then, from now on, I’m not going to speak in honorific form. Whoever who is unsatisfied can change to Team A.

Lawyer Lee told them that there wasn’t any problem with Designer Kim’s contract. Chairman was surprised that someone like Designer Kim would sign a contract with them. Chairman told DH that she worked hard, but he was worried that Designer Kim wouldn’t be able to adjust to the team environment. DH said that the design team’s productivity/effectiveness hadn’t been good, so she wanted to use this opportunity to increase quality by using this competitive strategy. JY said that fair competition wouldn’t occur if both AB team were part of the production department, hence she wanted to move Design Team A to her Advertisement Department. That way, the kind of fair competition that DH wanted would occur. Chairman agreed with JY’s suggestion and told TI to rearrange the human resource.

Lawyer Lee said he really look forward to the competition between DH and JY. JY told Design Team A they will be under her management from now on and hoped they will put all their effort to defeat Team B. JY told the design team leader that she would allocate more funding for the design team, and although Designer Kim was a genius, she didn’t have any actual experience, so that was an advantage for them. IS asked JY why did she purposely trouble herself. Designer Kim was a well known genius and the fact that DH was able to recruit her into the company, President extremely praised DH. So, why did JY needed to take over Team A, because if she couldn’t manage it good enough, JY would be label as an incompetent leader. JY said she had a plan, and although Designer Kim was a genius, she won’t get adjusted to team work because of her personality. JY said that Designer Kim would eventually leave because she wouldn’t be able to work in a company. When IS asked JY did she think it through, JY answered that she would never fight a battle she couldn’t win.

One of the worker (Lee Mina aka director Lee) asked JS for his resume even though he was a contracted worker. Designer Kim asked her for her name and reminded her that she shouldn’t have any expectation for JS, and that JS was a parachute that she brought, so why would a parachute have a resume. Just let him be a runner until it was time to get off from work. One of the worker asked Designer Kim when would they hold a meeting to discuss the theme for a new development. Designer Kim asked would they be able to come up with a concept just by holding meetings? She told them to just do their job. She also told Design Team B to dress casually to work from now on. A designer’s soul needed flexibility/freedom, so wearing suits would bring what kind of design. She told JS to help her buy a new bag of crispy cookie because this bag was stale.

DH: Teacher, you went a little bit overboard with the way you’re treating JS. That way, people would belittle him and treat him poorly. He’s naturally timid…so he will withstand a lot of attitude (?) from these designers, what should we do?
