SL:You might feel uncomfortable after hearing this but before Secretary Jin left she told me about you and JS's relationship and warned me that the relationship might not be over. When secretary Jin left she felt DH was still being manipulated by you and JS.

JH: Don't keep bringing up secretary Jin, what are you trying to say?

SL: even though she is a stepdaughter but a daughter nonetheless. You know she is with a guy with a murderous past and is someone who had a relationship with you, shouldn't you come forward and stop her?

JH: I finally understand why from the beginning I felt you were incompatible with my daughter.

SL: You mean you feel they are compatible? If her birth mother were alive would she think the same way?

JH: Probably even moreso. If her birth mother were alive she would have more speaking rights than I and step forward and be adamant about your incompatibility with DH.

 SL: you haven't realized the severity of the problem.(arent you the problem?) Because I love DH and I want her to be at her rightful place so I have helped her hide this disgusting secret. But the ones who see DH as a competitor won't think this way. The old managers  who don't want to see a woman lead BY and are awaiting for her to fail. You think to those people how will they use DH's scandal?

JH: I believe DH and JS can overcome the difficulties. Defeat people like you and secretary Jin who believes this is a scandalous news.

SL: You have accepted their relationship? Does the DH's dad know?

JH: He knows all of my past with JS. If it were you you would think of ways to kick JS out of BY but he didn't think that way. As for the crime he felt JS has served his punishment and won't look into it further. As for my past with JS he acknowledges it is something that happened before our marriage and he won't investigate it further. 

SL: That's because he treats him as a normal BY employee. If he knows about their relationship I would think he would be the most angry one right? Then everything would be over -don't you know? So before everything becomes exposed shouldn't your most important task is to let them break up? Hope you can think this over carefully.*

JJ told CS that HS would bring her account book over the next day. It’s not certain how much Ja Jang owe, but if it wasn’t enough, then JJ offered to mortgage the house. CS said he knew what the house meant to JJ and he won’t let her mortgage the house for him. He will solve it himself. JJ asked if they were strangers because they were husband and wife. CS said he wasn’t qualified to be her husband, in which JJ told him to stop being so unreasonable. Did he think she became his wife because he passed the test? Did she think she married him because he was going to be a public worker? She married him because she loved him…she loved him now, and she would continue to love him, so that was why she stayed with him all this time. CS said that his mother said it was her fault, but she might revert back to her materialistic way once life had settle down. In fact, it might be even worst than now. So before she despised him, he would leave her first. He asked her to listen (obey) to him this time. JJ asked did the really need to do this.

Nari wondered was CS and JJ getting a divorce. She told the news (that Ja Jang’s and CS’s possessions are not there and they have left home) to HS.

JH asked if DH and chairman went to a gathering. Chairman said he wanted to introduce DH to some of his friends, but none of them were suitable. JH asked was he using this as a roundabout way of praising his own daughter. IS complained that Chairman should take care of her daughter, JY, too (introduce her to others so they would know her and support her), and he shouldn’t bring only DH to these gatherings. TI quieted his wife by saying that Chairman must be tired after the gathering. JH told him to wash up and she had something to talk to her daughter.
