Chapter 7: Where am I?

*Jacks POV
Thanks man see you when you get here! I said getting off the phone. I am glad that I had such good friends. The doctor said that Cameryn had lost a lot of blood, had a cracked skull, and words carved in her arms. What does that even mean?
The doctor said I can't see her till tomorrow! What am I supposed to do? She needs me! I tried to get back there but I was stopped by security. They escorted my to the waiting room. I couldn't keep it together. I broke down she needed me!

(Time skip to the next day)
"Sir you may now see you daughter but she hasn't woken up yet it may take awhile." The doctor said leading me to a room. Cameryn was laying on the bed she was pretty banged up. She had bruises all over. Then I remembered that the doctor told me about something on her arms. I went over to her bed examining her arms there were cuts up and down and on one arm was the word ugly carved into her arm. The other said fat stupid orphan. My eyes filled with tears why would they do that to her? I don't understand! I sat in the chair next to her bed crying. I heard people talking outside.

"Are you all here to see Cameryn?" A nurse asked.

"Yes mam we are!" A group of guys said.

"Right this way! Wow Cameryn has a lot of people who love her. She is very lucky." The nurse said bringing people into the room.

I couldn't look up to see all the people coming in. I felt someone hug me and lead me out of the room. They walked me into the waiting room. We sat down and talked they told me it would be ok. I was so happy to see them. All of a sudden a nurse was walking towards us.

" She is waking up!" The nurse said.

When she said that I jumped up and ran into her room. I stood next to her bed. Her eyes fluttered open!

*Cameryns POV
I heard someone run into the room and when they did everything went quiet. I fluttered my eyes open. I saw Jack standing above me holding my hand. I started crying when I saw him. I pulled him into a hug still crying.

"Dad I'm ok!!" Was all I could say.

"Cameryn I was so worried about you!" Jack said also crying.

I broke the hug even though I didn't want to. I looked around the room. They were all looking at me. I blushed. I motioned Jack to come over to me.

"Did they come to see me?" I whispered in shocked.

"Of course they did Cameryn!" Jack said.
