I read the letter it says-
Don't do anything stupid. Your dream is nothing compared to what I will do to you if you try to get out of this. Go to the field that you had your picnic. See you there! Have fun watching Signe and Cameryn die Sean!- Veronica

I sit there shaking. I reread the note over and over again. I need to show this to Jack! I run back up stairs. I reach my room and hand Jack the note. I didn't realize how much I am shaking. He sets it behind him on the bed. Why? He needs to read it! It's very important! He hugs me and pulls me onto the bed. It's nice he sits there hugging me. He then hands me his phone. Everyone is on skype. Cuan comes in. He is a real dog! I knew I wasn't losing my mind. I pay the bed and he jumps up.

"Wait you have a dog?" Wade asks.

"Wait he can see your dog?" Mark asks. I laugh as everyone looks confused. Mark was one of the only people who could see Cuan.

"Yes Mark Cuan is a REAL dog!" I try to hint.

"Oh. Got it!" He says.

"Guy call my skype on the computer and we can talk there it will be better." I say and everyone hangs up. I look at Jack who is staring at the paper wide eyed. I go over and hug him.

"Dad trust me. It will be over tomorrow. We have it under control." I say. I hug him and pull him over to my computer. Signe has brought two extra chair for herself and Jack. We talk to everyone on skype for hours since it was only 11pm here. By the time we were done talking it was 2am.

"Cameryn you need to get some sleep!" Jack says.

"Ok you need some too. I just need to talk to Signe really quick before I go to bed." I say grabbing Signe as Jack walks out and closes the door.

"What's up?" She asks.

"I don't think he needs to go. He can't watch her do that to us." I whisper.

"Well what do you suggest?" She asks.

"Well can we use our powers on something and then when we lose them like a shield will it go away?" I asks. She nods.

"Let's do that!" I say. I grab a bunch of blankets and pillows.

"What are you doing silly?" Signe laughs.

"Well I am gonna sleep on the couch and I am dragging you and dad with me." I laugh. She follows me downstairs. I walk to the living room and set all the blankets up. I walk into the kitchen. I look over and see Jack stuffing his face with pop tarts.

"Would you like to join us or stuff your face with more pop tarts?" I ask and laugh. He laughs and chases me to the living room. I am about to jump on the couch as he catches me.

"GOT YA!" He yells. Signe shooshes.

"Sorry!" He says. Then he starts ticking. Signe joins in.

"Stop I think I'm gonna pee my pants!" I say. The laugh and stop. We sit down on the couch. Jack sits in between me and Signe allowing him to be the human pillow.

"I can't wait till this is all over!" I say. Cuan walks over and jumps in my lap.

"Me too!" Signe and Jack say.

"How is he a real dog?" Jack asks.

"I guess I made him into a real dog instead of healing him." I shrug petting him and kissing him. Jack laughs as Cuan licks his face.

I close my eyes and try to sleep. I keep waking up from dreams of all of this going wrong I just want this to be over.

(Time skip)

It's already 7am. Today is the day. I walk up the stairs and get dressed. Nothing fancy because I want to be comfy when I am get the life sucked out of me. I see Signe and she is already dressed. I write a note to Jack telling him what we are doing. Me and Signe walk out side and make a shield. Cuan or Jack can't get out. It is very rainy outside but more than usual like a big thunder storm. It's time to go face Veronica. I grab Signe's hand as we walk down the street to the meeting area. I am glad I didn't eat breakfast because it would probably be on the side walk right now because of how nervous I am. We get to the place and I don't see anyone. I feel hot breath on my ear.

"I guess Sean didn't want to see you die! What a shame." Veronica whispers in my ear.
