*Cameryns POV
"Dumplings are ready!" Jack calls from the kitchen.

I sit up. Pain shoots through my whole body. I wince and fall back where I was laying. So he give me a look of pity. Signe helps me sit up. I give her a faint smile. She smiles back.

"When you are better I am going to give you the biggest hug ever!" Signe smiles.

"COUNT ME IN!" Jack yells from the kitchen. I laugh and it hurts really bad.

Jack walks in and helps us get comfy. He goes and gets the chicken and dumplings. He gives us trays to set the hot bowls down on.

"I know you both don't feel like eating but it will help you feel better." Jack says. He then turns to the tv and starts tinkering with it.

"W................" I start to say but nothing comes out. Jack runs to the kitchen and fixes me a glass of water. I drink it all rather quickly. I try again.

"What are you doing to the tv?" I ask with a raspy voice. Jack laughs.

"What?!" I ask.

"Oh nothing you just sound like a pirate!" Jack laughs. He looks back at me and I stick my tongue out at him. He looks back at the tv and starts messing with it.

"All done!" He says proudly. He uses his computer to pull up skype. He wired it to where it shows up on the tv. He skype calls Mark.

"Hello!" Mark says.

"Hey!" Me and Signe croak.

"Whoa what happened to you guys?" Mark asks.

"Well remember that big thing I told you about?" Jack asks rubbing the back of his neck.

"Wait you mean to tell me that the thing involving Veronica happened today? Even though you told me it wasn't going to happen until later. THEY COULD OF DIED!" Mark said getting upset. I decide to jump in and not let Jack get the blame. He was doing what I would of done.

"Mark I told him to say that. I didn't want you to worry and fly out here. You have worried enough." I say.

"You could of died." Mark said.

"But we are right here! We are ok. We feel like sh*t but we are ok. And most importantly you all are ok and not in danger." I say.

"I am still upset!" Mark says crossing his arms.

"How about in a couple of days when they feel better we will come and see you!" Jack says. Marks face lights up as does mine.

"Yeah that would be great. You could meet Amy in person!" Mark smiles. I smile too.

"See there's that smile I missed!"Mark says.

"Ok you two get some rest I want to see you as soon as possible!" Mark says.

"Ok bye!" We all say.

"Should we tell the others?" Jack asks.

"No one else knew about the powers!" I say.

"Yeah. We will call them later and just say hi when you two are better. Now eat. I will put on a movie." Jack says. He put on Pacific Rim. It's a really good movie. After the movie is over Jack starts making dinner. There's a knock at the door. I stand up to try and make my way over to the door. Pain shoots through my body and my chest burns! I fall back to the couch.

"I got it!" Jack calls from the kitchen. He opens the door and invites someone in. I look over and see Clark. He has two sets of flowers in his hands. He comes and sits by me on the couch.

"Sorry I didn't come sooner I wanted to give you both time to rest. I am going to go I just wanted to check on you both. Signe these flowers are for you and Cameryn these are for you. Rest up!" He says leaving. I smile and thank him and he leaves.

"That was nice!" Signe says.

"Yeah!" I say.

Jack comes in and we eat dinner together. He fixes more medicine. I need as much as I came get. We just talk and rest up. There is no tension or stress in the air. It's very nice not to have to worry about that witch anymore. I am feeling a lot better than this morning. I think I will be better in a couple of days. Signe should be better sooner at least I hope. Let's hope so! I am done with being laid up in bed. I need to rest to get better though. I scoot closer to Jack and he plays with my hair as I drift off to sleep.
