Eren has a nice house, I thought as I stepped through the door.
Mike walks in behind me, letting out a low whistle.
Eren had went in ahead of us, in an attempt to smooth things over with her mother.
I stand in the living room, waiting to go into the kitchen.
Mike nudges me slightly, "Chess. Listen. She's singing our song."
I slowly move toward the kitchen, mesmerized by the soft tone of her voice, quickly finding myself singing along,"I don't know what's worth fighting for, or why I have to scream."
