"Yes, I see that, and have you come to claim your vengeance?" Loki paraded, before his pink tongue slid across his teeth, "or join my glorious cause?"
"Depends on you," I stammered, and moved to the right, but he mirrored my steps, and my stomach heaved. My legs twitched with the need to run, Loki's evil was too much, even for me. It spread throughout Tony's large room, drenching the fissures in my soul, and the scattered pieces in inky black oil, but I was used to the dark.
"You can let me take you in, or I can kill you where you stand, the choice is up to you, god of lies," I fumed, and took another four steps towards Tony's bar.
Loki and I gauged each other as we moved around the room, but neither of us said anything, just circled each other, like sharks.

"(Y/n), don't do this, he'll kill you," Tony called out.
"I can close the portal!" Nat's yell made my ear peice crackle with static.
"Then do it!" Cap replied.
"No, I have a nuke coming, and I know just where we need to put it," Tony added

"Who the fuck sent a nuke?!.." I questioned, just as Loki moved forward, forcing me to close my mouth.

"You will bow, then you and my army will destroy what's left of your friends," he growled, bringing up his fist, "and I will rule all..."
I blocked his punch and swiped at his stomach with my knife, before I tried to swipe his legs out from underneath his feet, but he grabbed my throat, and lift me into the air.

"(Y/n), I never said I'm sorry, for everything, well I'm saying it now," Tony mumbled, after Pepper didn't answer his phone call.
The opening in the sky passed behind him, and he was enveloped by the emptiness of space, willingly leaving all of them behind.
He didn't want to die, and never see (y/n)'s face again, or never hear Pep's voice, but he would, if it kept all of them safe, and the world turning.
Yet, the idea of never telling (y/n) what he wanted to, forced a few harsh gasps, and incoherent words bursting from his mouth, before he closed his eyes.
"I'm sorry, but I.. never told you just how much I missed you... I never told anyone, just how much.. I..."

"(Y/n), I never said..I'm sorr.. f..everything.." Tony stated through dead air, as Loki slammed me against the glass. "I nev...tol..mis.... yo...I nev.. told.. any..o.. I.."
"Tony?!" I yelled, hearing only dead air, and losing it to even more loss. I didn't think I was going to survive Phil's loss, but if something happened to Tony too, if I lost both of them, I wouldn't make it, "No! Tony! Cap where's To..."
"You're a pathetic excuse, hiding behind all that pain," Loki growled, and squeezed my throat shut, cutting off my questions about Tony. He lifted my body higher up the wall, "I can see the shadows, smell the darkness which lay inside of you. Love and friendship are merely distractions to what you really are..you fail to realize who and what you are, why?"

"You've killed hundreds of people, fuckrag, and you killed Ph.." I tried to finish, but Loki squeezed my throat and cut off all my air.

"Oh yes, your knight," he drawled, "and a knight he was, he sacrificed himself for you, oh, and he really did love you, although you didn't really love him, now did you? His last thoughts were of you and a warm bed... did you mourn, does it hurt? You're weak!" Loki spat, as my eyes began to roll into the back of my head, and my chest flamed for air.
I'm going to die here, I thought, while Loki squeezed harder and the voices of Cap and Nat screamed in my ear.

"...The question is when you do, how do you respond, who do you become?"

"You're strong my cehualli, you were meant to fly...you will save the world, but you must let go..."
