They spent an hour walking around the streets of Phoenix, till they finally stopped at a small coffee shop, with a covered outside patio.
It took him awhile too utter a single word, while Natasha just sat back calmly and sipped at her iced mocha as she looked around at the civilians passing by, but once he did, they didn't stop, and he poured out his fears, and misconceptions, leaving his vision out of it. Natasha was easier to talk to versus Cap, and even Rhodey, but it left him feeling raw and vulnerable.

"So, let me get this straight, she gave you more information, on top of what we learned yesterday, and asked you to believe in something we've always known about her, and she freaked out because you refused too," Tasha questioned, but he didn't answer, and stared out into the street, "look, we're all trying to keep up with what's going on with her, and her meeting with that professor only enhanced her belief and understanding, and not to bring up more bad shit, but those three months you were busy, the episode in the bathroom wasn't uncommon. It's happened before, not the images of course, but the same strength and purpose," she shrugged, "I believe her, but I've always known something was different about her, since the day I first met her, and now we know why, but are you seriously willing to let her go because of it? Did you forget we have an Asgardian god on our payroll, and according to Thor, Odin is alive and well, another important God, we assumed was just fiction?"
"Are you really asking me that question right now, you, the ring bearer? And don't use Thor as some bridge, not for this," he snorted, and finally flagged down the waiter, unwilling to admit Natasha had a point, but Thor was different. He was a walking, talking god, and a plethora of information about Asgard, as was Dr. Foster, "ice water, and whatever concoction she's drinking.." He muttered, and closed his eyes. More importantly, Thor was a teammate, not his goddamned girlfriend.
"Right away," the young woman hurried, seemingly recognizing his face.
"Tony," Natasha sighed, "it's okay to be scared.."
"I'm not scared of her," he retorted quickly.
"I didn't say you were, and you didn't let me finish, but she found what she was looking for, a reason, I don't really know if I believe in the purpose, as she does, but I believe in her, and her strength. This shit's been happening to her since she was a kid, and only progressed further since she came into contact with the stone. Even in the marines she had the ability, she told me about Kandahar," Nat paused, "she's been living with this, with no known precursors as to why, but now she does, and you're seriously gonna deny her that?" She asked, and pulled her hair back from her sweaty forehead.

He shrugged his shoulders, "it's not exactly easy to come to terms with the fact that my girlfriend has super powers, and it's a little harder to accept they come from some goddess, or whatever else is out there in the universe.."
"Oh, I believe it, especially now," she laughed, "and again...Thor..hello.."
"How is any of this funny?" He asked dumbfounded, but matched her smile.
"Because, it's kinda cool," she babbled.
"Jeez Tasha, and you're not worried about what this will do to her in the long run?" He blurted out, and downed the ice water almost as soon as it got to the table, "how much further is this going to progress, and what if she comes in contact with the rest of the Stones? Then what?"
"There it is..." she mentioned, and scooted forward, "that only took two hours, pff, and of course I'm worried, but how is us being worried going to help us help her? She needs to learn some control, and if she's accepted what's going on, that's really the first step, so what are you really worried about? You should just start adding capes to her uniforms."
He rolled his eyes, but a small snicker slipped over his lips, "I'm beginning to think you're just as insane as (y/n)."
"So I've heard, we were meant to be," she giggled, "so are you two, and I don't even believe in that kinda stuff, but your head's been in your ass, about this, since January."
"Obviously," he sighed, and finally sat back. The sun lifted higher in the sky, and the ripples from the heat could be seen rolling over the hot concrete, "this whole thing's crazy, and... she thinks she's prepared for whatever she thinks is coming..I know she's strong, but she's also pretty vulnerable too, and..."
"Being vulnerable isn't a weakness, look at everything she's accomplished because of that vulnerability. The two drops we did, worked, mainly because of her, and I read her grandmother's letter, but it's not just her who thinks something's coming, I know you and Thor believe it, as well, you're just better at hiding it," she shrugged, "I've told (y/n) this, and I'm telling you, we have what we have when we have it, and I have no doubt in her ability to lead us forward, Steve doesn't doubt her either, no one does, except you.."
"Um ow, you have a knack for making me feel like a jerk," he mused, but didn't begrudge what she said, because it was true. He knew the team was stronger with (y/n) there, Ultron, and the drops, proved that once again. She fought injured, tired, and was a leader in her own right, just like Cap, but that didn't make his trepidation easier to ignore.
Goddamn the females he was surrounded by.
"Only because it's true," she shrugged, and checked her phone, "we may as well head back, but seriously Tony, think about what I said, regardless if something does come, that doesn't mean we have to stop living, I don't want to lose her either, and I'm sure that's one of your main concerns, but we're here now, and the only way to go, is forward."
"Noted, and I think I'm good with the heart to heart, you've been such a big help Natasha," he muttered
sarcastically, and tossed a fifty on the table.
"I did help, and I expect you to buy me something pretty, I'm still waiting on my gift from your Christmas present," she chided, and followed him up the street.
"Hey, I made you the ring bearer, what more do you want?" He laughed, as she rolled her eyes, "but that was a great present, and I just realized I still haven't seen all the pictures you took.."
"Really? Pfff and you had the audacity to ask for her bikini pics, pervert, your welcome by the way, I picked out the bathing suit," she joked, and looped her arm around his.
"She told me, right before she fell off the bed," he jested, and couldn't help but laugh at the recent memory.
"I have pictures of that too, but I'm saving those for blackmail later," she replied nonchalantly.
"I would expect nothing less," he commented, "and she's gonna kill you."
"Probably."
