The next three days were spent lounging, going for morning runs, only to get soaked with snow. Eating cheap and expensive dinners, and making love wherever, and whenever the mood grabbed us. We didn't talk about our conversation from earlier, or work, even though I caught Tony answering emails and working in his shop. I was just happy we were alone, and away from the city.
Of course, when we went into Saugerties for dinner, or to shop, people recognized, both Tony and I. A few asked for autographs, and began questioning us being together. I was thankful Tony seemed more prepared than I did, and answered their questions patiently, with a smile. I was still a little worried about the fallout and Pepper, but I kept my kept my worry to myself, and focused on just being there with Tony.
Besides that, the last three days had been exactly what I needed, to catch up on a little sleep, and just breathe. It was so quiet, and peaceful out here. There were no sounds from the city, no pollution, no phone calls, just Tony and I. It was also refreshing to see Tony relax a bit, and his smile rarely left his face the three days we were there. In fact, neither of us wanted to leave, once the time came.

"You ready?" He asked, and threw his bag over his shoulder, as I walked downstairs.
"Not really," I sighed, and looked around the living room, longingly.
"I told you we can stay for another few days..." He recalled, and followed my gaze around the room, "there's still a few things left in that love box, we didn't get to try.."
"No, it's okay, perv," pausing at the memories, and the heat roaming over my skin, "I know we have work to do, just promise me we'll come back, soon. I really like it here," I replied, and lifted my own duffel bag onto my back, "besides, my nipples still hurt from those clamps you put on me."
"We'll be back, maybe around Christmas time, and don't pretend you didn't like all that, the sheets were soaked," he mused, and opened the front door.
"Yes, thank you for reminding me of the horrifyingly embarrassing moment where I thought I peed myself," I scoffed, and squeezed my thighs together, not even bothering to deny it.
His laughter bounced off the walls, and my blush heated my face, "I'm not embarrassed, in fact, I should give myself a medal, and the look on your face was priceless," he laughed, and tossed our bags near my truck. Snow had started to stick to the ground, and dusted everything a sparkly white, "but we can go wherever you want," he added, and gave me a sly smirk.
"Really?" I asked, and followed him outside, "so if I said, hey let's go to Greece or India, you'd be okay with that?"
"You've never been to Greece?" He asked, surprised, and stuffed the back seat with our bags. I pulled my hoodie up over my head, and hurried into my warm pickup, "I could of sworn you went when you worked at Stark Industries?" He added.
"No, I've never been to India either, in fact, now that I think about it, I have no idea why. I can afford to go, just never did. I wanna see Ireland too," I mused, while he slid into the driver's seat. A smile peppered my face, when he demanded he drive home earlier, "I think you like driving this thing more than I do."
"It definitely has its advantages, especially out here," he replied, and grabbed his phone, "FRIDAY lock it up, and make sure everything's off."
"Of course boss," she replied, as Tony put my truck in drive and headed south
"So you're serious, you've never seen any of those places? You'd think with SHIELD, and the marines.." He ventured, and gave me a side glance.
"Flying over it, doesn't count, and the overseas missions I did for SHIELD were mostly in London, and Russia." I yawned, and leaned into my heated seat. The warmth of the cab made my eyes droopy, and I yawned again.
"Wow, okay then Greece, Ireland, and India we go.." He snickered.
"And Mexico," I added sleepily, "I want to see the mountains where I was born..."
"We just got onto the road, how are you sleepy already?" He questioned.
"Probably cause it's cozy in here, and we've spent the last three days, doing nothing but eating and have sex.." I giggled softly, and closed my eyes.

A smile crested his lips once he heard a content sigh leave her mouth, and her head leaned against her seat belt. He was actually a little tired himself, and definitely needed to increase his fluid uptake as soon as he got home.
Three days, they'd done nothing but sleep together, talk, and run out for food. It was kind of nice being out in the middle nowhere, just the two of them, talking about whatever they wanted. He felt more connected to her than ever before, which was strange to feel it in a physical way, as well as emotionally, but it sheltered him from the chaos of the world.
He'd slept a little more than he was used to, which didn't really surprise him, considering they'd marked quite a few surfaces in the cabin, but he was content and not really looking forward to heading home.
He had a lot of work to do, and while he wanted to continue their little vacation, he knew he was creating more work for both of them, the longer they stayed at the cabin.
The past few weeks and three days had been nothing short of an eye opening experience for him. He wasn't used to spending so much one on one time with one person besides JARVIS, and now FRIDAY, but with her it was easy. She made it easy, with her smart mouth, and constant laughter. He was even able to sit still long enough for them to watch a movie, which was unheard of for him, but he did it.
There were so many firsts for both of them, yet they felt so overwhelmingly right, and caused a little regret that he'd waited so long, but she was right before, they both led their own lives while they were a part, and for her there was no need to dwell on that.
