"Are you alright?" He asked, as the sun started filtering through the windows.
We both needed a shower, and brush our teeth, but neither of us moved, just pulled the sheet over our bodies and relaxed against each other. My legs were sore, as was the area between my legs, but I wouldn't change one thing we experienced together last night. It was slow, passionate, and full of soft demands and harsh gasps, but for hours we worshipped each other, past the point of exhaustion. Tony had surprised me again, with his confessions of love and protection, and he seemed to be comfortable to do so. I didn't matter if they were said in the throes of passion and love, he meant them, I could feel it in everything we did last night, and this morning.
"Yes, more than alright," I purred, and nuzzled into his chest, "I guess I can say you liked the photos?"
"Pfff, I think I proved that, more than once, last night, and again this morning," he jested, and scratched his chin on the top of my head, "I should also say I'm a tad bit surprised.."
"Yah, I know, I almost died when Nat mentioned doing something like that, but she took almost a hundred pictures, and those are the ones I liked the best," I yawned, and closed my eyes, "and I kinda like you like this, all romantic and stuff."
"It is kinda nice huh, but don't worry, I'm sure you'll be pissed at me in the near furture for something I did or said," he laughed and kissed my head, but quickly stiffened, "wait, you mean to tell me there's eighty-five more photos I haven't seen yet?" He asked excitedly, and rubbed my back.
"Yah, I guess so, I have them all on a flashdrive, why?" I questioned sleepily.
"Uh, because I want them," he replied instantly, "all of them."
I rolled my tired eyes, and slowly sat up, "are you serious?" I scoffed, and let a deviant smile spread across my lips.
"I know what that smile means, but I don't think either of us can go another round, not without eating something," he laughed, and sat up.
"That's not what I was smiling about pervert, but you're probably right. I don't know if I can even walk right now," I mused, and scooted closer to him.
"If you can't walk, then I think I successfully delivered my boyfriendly duties for the evening," he snickered, and ran a hand over my blushing cheek.
"Yah, I'm gonna have a tough time explaining to our guests why I can't sit down this morning," I giggled, and leaned into his touch.
"Hey you started this, but I'm sure they'll understand, now why can't I have all the pictures?" He asked again, as his eyelashes fluttered petulantly.
"I didn't say you couldn't have them, but how about I send you a few here and there, that way you don't get bored with them," I shrugged, and forced my eyes away from his penetrating gaze.
"I think I can live with that, although when it comes to bordem, that's not something you'll ever need to worry about," he assured, as his face lit up with happiness.
"Boss, your guests are starting to wake up, and I took the liberty of calling your chef, he's already in the kitchen, making breakfast." FRIDAY interrupted, "and the children have snuck out of their bedroom and are looking for (y/n)."
"Can you put some cartoons on downstairs, we still need to shower," I replied, and gingerly slid out of bed, "oh and clear Mr. Stark's schedule for today, he's spending it with me."
"Of course (y/n)," she acquiesced.
"What're we going to do all day?" Tony asked, and followed me into the bathroom.
"I'm sure I can think of something doll," I teased, and dropped the sheet.
"Jeez woman, let me eat something first," he joked, as he slid his arms around me, "but I can see you're still walking, so apparently I need to remedy that, later."
"I actually wasn't talking about sex," I lied, and stepped into the hot shower. The warm water relaxed my sore muscles, and rinsed the sweat from my back and chest.
"Liar," Tony remarked, while he slid in behind me, and kissed my back.
"You know me so well," I giggled.

Tony finally managed to get downstairs, while (y/n) blow dried her hair. Natasha and Steve raised their eyebrows in question as he smiled at both of them, while he made a beeline for the fridge and pulled out a carton of orange juice. He didn't even grab a glass, just opened it, and downed half.
"I see (y/n) gift worked, I now expect you to buy me something pretty," Nat giggled, and sent him a wink.
"I'll give you my card right now, if you want it," he laughed, as Steve looked between them.
"Is that the gift you and (y/n) were working on? What was..." he paused and put his hands up, "you know what I don't want to know."
"Good, cause I wasn't gonna tell you," Tony joked and drank more orange juice.
"There are glasses honey," (y/n) mused from the doorway.
Her hair was in a long braid, and she donned one of his henley's, and a pair of loose fitting jeans. She looked comfortable and relaxed, but her gaze set his skin on fire, and images and flashes from last night danced in front of him. He hadn't realized how long they stared at each other till Steve cleared his throat.
He actually snickered when (y/n) scowled up at Cap, scaring him a bit.
"Have the kids eaten?" She asked, and sashayed around the kitchen island to his side. She grabbed the orange juice and downed the rest.
"Uh, no they're watching cartoons, they were waiting for you guys, and their parents, before they ate," Steve remarked, and smiled at both of them.
"Is everything on the dining room table already?" (Y/n) asked, and leaned down on the counter, in front of him. Her jeans were loose, but that didn't stop him from glancing at her ass, or legs.
"Yep, the chef made pancakes, three different kinds of eggs, bacon, sausage, there's fruit, and he even pulled out some of the leftovers from last night," Natasha replied through a snicker, "he even made some muffins, which are amazing by the way."
"Sounds great, I'll get the kids settled with their food, I'm sure Clint and Laura need as much sleep as they can get. Is Mama Rhodes up yet, Rhodey?" (Y/n) yawned, and leaned back against him.
"Everyone's pretty much still asleep besides us and the kids," Steve added, and smiled.
"Excellent first dibs on the pancakes!" (Y/n) squealed, and darted passed all of them, into the common room.
He watched her jump onto the couch, only to stiffen a bit when her butt made contact with the cushions, before chattering with the kids. She eyed him when she heard him snicker, but he just gave her a wink and looked for something else to drink.
"Uh, there's more juice out on the table, along with milk, mimosas, and some eggnog." Steve declared, as Nat followed (y/n) to the couch.
Steve and Tony both looked into the living room, smiling at the way they settled in with the kids.
It was a perfect morning.
"Did you sleep okay?" Tony asked, and watched (y/n) take the kids to the dining room table and began serving them.
"I actually passed out on the couch, Nat did too," Steve answered, "Lila woke us up this morning."
"Oh really?" Tony smirked.
"Don't start," Steve sighed, and made a beeline for the food.
He followed Steve just as Rhodes and his mom walked into the common room.
"Tony, I can get used to this, not cooking and having food magically show up when I walk into the room," Mama Rhodes announced, and kissed (y/n) forehead.
"I'll send the compliments to my chef," Tony mumbled, and reached for a muffin.
He was a little overwhelmed once Clint and Laura, along with Nathaniel joined them a few minutes later. Then Vision and Wanda showed up, in jammies, joining the team, but he stood back and watched everyone bustle around eating and talking.
A satisfied sigh escaped his mouth, and kept his gaze on (y/n). He was still coming down from their high, last night, but the satisfied look on her face kept him centered on the choas in front of him. In had been a while since his tower was this full, and he admitted he kind of missed it. It'd only been a couple of months since the team moved into the facility, but sometimes the tower was too quiet. He liked quiet, and he really didn't pay attention to who was in his tower while he was working, but when (y/n) moved in, it seemed like the team, Natasha especially, spent more time here than at the facility. He didn't mind, in fact, he was finally getting used to having all of them around, and not just as a team, but family and friends.
He shook himself, and rolled his eyes at Mama Rhodes, who continually fussed over (y/n), and little Nathaniel. He wasn't comfortable around babies, kids were one thing, but a newborn was a little different. It was cute to watch though, his girlfriend playing games and making funny faces at the baby. It also kept Rhodey's boisterous mom from asking more questions, and innuendos about marriage and babies.
His phone vibrated in his pocket, and a brief text from Pepper flashed across the screen.
'Merry Christmas, and thank you for the gift. I'm sure (y/n) thought of it, but thank you, I needed a trip to the salon.'
He looked up at (y/n), but said nothing since she was playing with the baby while Clint and Laura ate.
'Uh, your welcome, I'm glad she did, and Merry Christmas Pep.' He sent back to her.
'Lol, I talked to (y/n) yesterday, she told me she bought me something, I just wanted to tell you Merry Christmas.' She replied quickly.
'I didn't know you talked to her yesterday," he sent.
'Well that's what you get for the charade you pulled on Christmas Eve,' she replied, 'but we're okay Tony, everything will be okay, so just enjoy yourself, and stop worrying about me.'
'I know, and okay,' he text back, and looked up at (y/n) before he sent it.
It wasn't just Pep he was worried about, in fact after Christmas Eve, he firmly believed they'd be okay, but it was a little unnerving knowing that only after a few months, how quickly he and (y/n) were committed to each other. It didn't scare him, she was it, but it made him wary.
Pep had suffered through alot while they were together, she almost died, and sometimes the worry overrode his feelings, wondering if the same thing would happen to (y/n). She was taking on a lot, but she strived under it these last few weeks. She handled the foundation, Christmas, the gifts, all of it, while he holed himself up in his lab working on the agricultural portfolio. He knew she was still sifting through historical texts and information about her ancestors, hoping to find some answers. She was also dealing with Vision's constant questions about her ability to deter Wanda's powers, which seemed to get stronger as time passed by. Steve showed him the training video again, and while Wanda's powers did knock her to her feet, she was able to get up, no matter how hard Wanda tried to put her down. It was a question he wanted answered as well, but the festivities of Christmas and work took precedence over everything else.
"Hey, you okay?" (Y/n) asked, and leaned against the wall next to him, "you're perched over here like a wraith, instead of enjoying the day with me."
"Yah, I'm fine," he murmured, and glanced at her face, "why didn't you tell me you texted Pep yesterday?"
"Oh...well I sent her a Merry Christmas text, and let her know her gift would be waiting for her at her apartment." She admitted, and frowned up at him. "I don't see what the big deal is, especially after what you did on Christmas Eve.." She growled.
"It's not a big deal, I just didn't know, she sent me a text telling me Merry Christmas..." he added, and cleared his throat, "and we'll talk about Christmas eve later.."
"Okay, but why are you upset?" She asked, and stepped in front of him.
"Honey, I'm not upset, she just reiterated she'd be alright, that everything would be alright," he lamented thickly.
The frown immediately left (y/n)s brow and she grabbed his hand, "she told me the same thing yesterday, but your mood changed, I can feel it. You wanna talk about it?"
"Not right now, like I said, later when all these people get the hell out of my tower," he snickered, and nodded at everyone.
"They want to be here, just as much as you like them here, so unclench, and eat something besides that muffin, okay?" She encouraged, and brushed her palm over his goatee, "whatever you're worried about, let it go, at least for now, and we'll handle it later." She concluded, and quickly kissed his lips, before heading back to the couch with Lila and Natasha.
