Tony layed next to her as she mumbled in her sleep, even though he wanted to go to his lab and look through all the files her and Vision had gathered.
After their conversation, and some dinner, she was swaying on her feet, and the black bags under her eyes demanded some sleep. So he layed down with her in bed, but no matter how much reassurance he gave her, her fear could be heard in her voice, and swam in her eyes.
Tony couldn't imagine what was flying through her mind, or what she was going through, not really.
She had a strength, an ability to ward off an Infinity Stone, among other things. He was shocked to see the wind picking up, and nearly destroy the trees out at the facility while she broke down, but he noticed that particular capability while they were on the ranch in California.
In her anger, and confusion she had an influence on the horses, and men working there. The horses nearly brought down the barn as she yelled at that asshole Nico, but it was nothing like what she'd been able to do these last few months.
Steve had made him privy about trying to find Thor, and getting into contact with Foster and Selvig, but even they didn't know where he was, and Jane made it clear her and Thor were no longer a couple.
They were on their own, because he agreed with (y/n) and Vision in keeping this between themselves. He didn't want to subject her to more testing the council would demand of her, and sadly didn't want her placed under the same scrutiny as Wanda and Vision were.
He spent hours watching her sleep, repeatedly going over everything he learned and what she said. He had half a mind to ask her to stay behind while the foundation delivered supplies to some of the villages in Libya, but she reiterated how adamant she was about going. She wanted to be there, not as an Avenger, but as someone to provide hope, and a helpful hand. Her determination hadn't wavered, but he saw the detrimental aftermath of her mental wellbeing after Sokovia.
People flocked to her, especially the children, in fact, most of the civilians specifically asked for her, and refused help from anyone else, except Wanda.
They stayed over a week in Sokovia mostly because (y/n) refused to leave, and drove herself to the point of exhaustion.
She was a beacon of light for those people, but it took its toll, and after what he saw and learned in the last twenty-four hours, he was afraid it would only force her father away from him, from all of them.
He hoped their conversation would of alleviated some of her discomfort, but she still seemed so far away, and exhausted. He couldn't blame her, because she kept all this from him, as if she didn't trust him, which was a lie. She didn't tell him because she wanted to garner more information, and because she wanted to face this in her own way, at least she thought that at first, but she admitted she needed him there, and was afraid it would force more weight onto his shoulders.
He rolled his eyes as she blurted out her reasoning, but even with his reassurance she was still uneasy.
He looked at her again, and pushed some of her dark hair away from her face. The last three months had taken it's toll, but she was still one of the most beautiful things he'd ever seen. Her dark lashes settled against her light bronze skin, and her full lips beckoned to be kissed, but he was content just watching her, satisfied she was safe in his tower.
He kissed her forehead, and moved to get out of bed, and head downstairs, but she latched onto his arm.
"Stay here, with me, please," she murmured sleepily, and moved closer to him, "I missed you, and I need to feel you Tony, I have to believe I can handle this, all of it, but I...I need to feel you," she whispered, and kissed his stomach.
"Are you still asleep?" He rebuked, but his hips twitched, and his skin tingled with her breathy sighs.
"No, you ass," she purred, and knelt down in front of him, on the bed. She slowly pulled her shirt over her head, and reached for the waistband of his jeans, "it feels like I haven't touched you in forever, and there's nothing I want more than you, right now, please," she pleaded, and settled her head against his chest.
He wanted her too, and his body reacted to her ministrations, and purrs, but he wanted to make sure she was alright, "honey, you have no idea how bad I want you too, but are you sure you're okay?"
Her eyes shined with tears, but her smile spread over her lips, and she leaned up closer to him, "I will be, as long as I have you, and you show me just how much you missed me.."
He snorted, and pushed her back against the bed, "I think I can do that..quite a few times if you're willing."
She unlatched her bra, and shimmied out of her jean shorts, "oh I'm more than willing, and I'm really horny right now, I've been really horny, like three months worth of horny.."
He burst with laughter, and fell on top of her, smothering her as he pulled off his shirt, "me too babygirl, me too."
