It'd been another twenty-four hours, and she still didn't have her phone on. Tony had made the decision to get on his plane and head to Oceano, but he had a few appointments which he couldn't get out of. He was already irritable and hadn't slept more than a few hours since he'd stepped into his tower, but now that she was gone, and the news continued to play the same pictures and innuendos over and over, along with Ultron's destruction, his mind was too chaotic to even think about sleep, or food.
He'd even called to check on the team once Ross let him know the rest of the hearings were done, but to also see if she reached out to any of them, but neither Rhodes or Natasha had heard from her since yesterday.
He wasn't going to let her go, and he was this close to just skipping out on General Ross, along with a few delegates, and his last meeting with the board of his foundation.
There was too much going on, and he was driving himself into the ground with new projects, updates for his suit and plane. Plus the aftermath of what happened in Sokovia and Ultron still kept him from relaxing.

"Boss, General Ross has left a reminder that your meeting is in thirty minutes. I already have your car ready, and I have you seated in a private room at Daniels," FRIDAY reminded him, breaking him out of his thoughts.
"Fine, can you make sure my bags are loaded up on the plane, and my Tesla also loaded. I've looked over the info you gave me, and I sure as hell don't want to be chauffeured through a one horse town," he answered robotically, and slid his glasses over his eyes. He absently grabbed one of his suit jackets and threw it over his AC/DC shirt. Daniel's was an upscale restaurant, and his purple suit jacket and loose black slacks would turn heads, but he didn't care, he wanted to get this meeting over with, and get to Oceano. He wasn't used to flying across the country for a woman, but it was definitely gonna happen soon.
Tony couldn't deny the doubt growing in his stomach the more time passed, but he was going, and she was going to let him explain. He experienced fear before, doubt, and self loathing, but nothing compared to the thought that she'd lost faith in him so quickly, after everything they'd done and went through together, but he understood her reasons.
"Already done boss, and your pilot will be on board ready by the time you get done with your last meeting tomorrow morning, so you should be on the plane no later than 9:00 a.m." FRIDAY added, "are you sure you want to wear that?"
"You already trying to pick out what I need to wear?" He tsked, and headed towards the garage, "I know you women love to do that."
"No, I just don't think AC/DC is quite appropriate for this particular restaurant," she replied, "and regardless of my protocols, picking out what you wear is a responsibility I'd rather not have."
Tony snickered, and pocketed his phone as he slid into his orange Audi. He shook his head and focused on the meeting in front of him, and settled on what he was about to do. He just hoped it didn't come down to actually enforcing or needing it, but with the road the Avengers had already been down, it seemed almost inevitable. Oversight was inevitable.
