"Let me finish," he replied immediately, "As soon as she had you, her whole personality changed. She relied on people to protect her. She no longer protected herself. She had guards standing by her at all time. She became a helpless little twat. Your mother was not a weak woman. What caused such a dramatic change is unknown, but long story short, when she came aboard my ship and begged me to stop the attack, she looked so weak and vulnerable. That was the first time she'd ever begged me to do something. Having ties to someone so weak was pathetic and insulting." You were silent after that, constantly opening and closing your mouth.
"So all in all, it was my fault because I was born?" You repeated.
"Logically speaking, yes," Zarkon replied. You sighed.
"Wow... glad to know you got a disappointment," you said genuinely.
"Hm... Haggar," Zarkon called out. She appeared next to him in black smoke.
"Yes your highness?" Her raspy voice replied.
"Show my daughter to her room temporarily. We shall give her the fullest hospitality," Zarkon ordered.

~ "So uh, how much longer until Y/n gives us the signal?" Hunk asked from his station in the control room.
"Shouldn't be that much longer. I don't doubt Y/n one bit," Shiro replied.
"So, what are you we gonna do when we get Allura back? Do we just leave Y/n and P/n there?" Lance asked. Shiro sighed.
"I don't know. It depends on if Allura will allow it. This is her ship," Shiro replied.
"I miss Y/n. It's been weird not having her with us," Pidge sighed.
"Yeah... I even miss her elbowing me," Lance added.
"Oh man, she was great to cook with! She was so easy going and understood everything. Not so much with training... she scares me..." Hunk added on. Keith didn't say anything and just lowered his eyes to the ground.
"We can all reminisce later, right now we need to focus," Shiro ordered, though not admitting he missed you as much as everyone else did.
~ Haggar had shown you to your temporary room and left without saying a word. It wa spacious, donning the signature purple and black as well. You looked over towards the closet and opened it up, seeing articles of clothing already in it.
"Huh..." You said out loud, swallowing.
"How bout a makeover?" You asked P/n who just barked.
~ "Can Y/n be trusted, My Lord?" Haggar asked Zarkon, standing behind him.
"Y/n is not an unreasonable person. She wouldn't do anything that isn't called for. Not to mention, as long as I told her why I killed M/n, I don't have her standing in my way," Zarkon replied.
"But Y/n could be handing information about you to the Paladins of Voltron," Haggar argued.
"Good. Then let them. Five puny Paladins aren't going to stop the emperor of the universe."
