You.

Dressed in some leggings, boots, a shirt and a hoodie, I stood in the hallway and waited for Ryan. He told me to dress warm, so I hope it isn't ice skating again. Mind you, in Britain you have to dress warm pretty much every day anyway.

It will be weird having to actually go out to meet up with Ryan. Like, if I get fostered. It will be like a proper, adult relationship where you don't happen to live under the same roof and you have to arrange things by telephone.

I won't be able to hold his hand every morning and watch him eat breakfast. And I won't be able to kiss and cuddle him goodnight every night. It will be weird. I know we've had it before, but it's more permanent this time.

"You ready?" Ryan asked as he bounded down the stairs.

"Ready as I'll ever be" I said, linking arms with him. I still have no idea where we are going, but Ryan is really good and planning these adorable little dates to obscure places so I'm sure it will be great wherever we go.

"Oh and Ryan?"

"Yeah?"

"Next time, it's my turn to plan the date. You always do it, it's about time I treated you for a change"

"If you say so. But nothing too much yeah? I don't want you spending a load of your money on..."

"Save it. We aren't focusing this conversation on money. I'll spend as much or as little as I want to and that will be the end of it. Okay?"

"Okay."

"So where are we going?"

"Nice try but I'm not telling"

"It was worth a shot"

"Of course it was"

We walked through town and ended up somewhere I'd never really been before. It's like that side of town that you don't really go to because there's nothing there other than offices and dodgey looking buildings.

Ryan lead me down a really gloomy, narrow street with tall buildings looming over us on either side. I will admit, I was kind of scared. Just the atmosphere was exactly the sort of thing you would see in a horror film, or the action film before the character steps into some tiny club or bar filled with people and gets talking to the worker who spills some important information to them.

Anyway...

Ryan eventually found a door. He looked up at the building and smiled. "This is it"

"What is it?" I asked, confused as to why he was so happy about this run down building.

"Go in and you'll see"

I shot him a glare, before walking in. It felt sort of wrong, since that's what Harvey told me to do that time I agreed to go to town with him. Ew.

This time was different though. It was better. Mainly because Ryan was with me, but even what's inside topped what Harley showed me. Inside, was a small cafe type place, which at first just looked like your average private coffee shop.

But then I noticed the posters on the walls and the signatures written beside them. And the small stage in the corner where a microphone stood lonely on a stand. There were fairy lights strung up, and this place was so magical. There were only a few other people in there, but the atmosphere was incredible.

"Woah Ryan" I revelled.

"I know" he replied with a smirk. "So you like it?"

"It's amazing" I replied, still slowly scanning the room.

"That's just the half of it. We're a bit early"

"A bit early for what?"

"You'll see"
