Sunaina had anticipated something like this but the way Arjun had conveyrd his feelings hinted at its seriousness.
She sat on the terrace for another hour before going back to her room.
Shivani was both excited and worried for Sunaina. When Sunaina entered after an hour she was very quiet and in deep thought. Sunaina went straight to bed and Shivani did not disturb her .
Sunaina was very disturbed . She had always looked upon Arjun as Shivani elder brother and nothing else. Infact she was finding difficult to digest the fact that Arjun was so strongly attracted to her . He was a nice guy but becoming his girlfriend she was uncertain .
Since Arjun was related to Shivani she couldn't discuss this with her .
The ever chirpy Sunaina was silent in the morning also . They got ready . It was their last exam today and midterm break was to start from tomorrow.
Sunainas mind was not in the exam so dhe didn't do it very well. She was still silentbut Shivani could not bear any longer .
" Su speak up . What happened yesterday and why are you si tense ?"
" Shi. Arjun asked me to be his girlfriend?"
" I knew that much but why are you so disturbed?"
" Because I am not sure Shivani . I have always looked upon Arjun as your brother and my friend nothing else ."
" So he has not forced you ?"
" I agree but now it will not be easy to deal with him . He is a nice guy and I do like him but loving him I just don't know ?"
Well who is asking you to love him ? Just go with the flow and see where all this leads to ?"
" Ok " Sunaina spoke thoughtfully.
" come on Su lets pack "
Sunaina and Shivani were to leave in the morning so they packed their stuff and went to bed early.
