SUNAINA IS READY

Sunaina went home in a daze . The moment she entered her house she literally announced to her parents ," Mom dad I am ready for the wedding " saying this she rushed to her room .

Vikram had a confused look ," Aunty something happened at Shivani's place because Sunaina came back very upset . I think I should speak to her "

" No beta I will ho gio and speak to her "

Kiran knocked at Sunaina's door.

After sometime Sunaina opened the door to her mom ," Mom what is it? You should be happy I have agreed niw what is the matter ?"

" Beta I can't see you like this"

" Mom I deserve much more . I am a horrible person . I deceived Arjun . He loved me so much. Today I lost two friends both Shivani and Arjun .", she burst into tears .

Kiran started crying as well ," Sunaina I cant see you suffering like this . I will speak yo your dad again "

" No mom now it's useless. Arjun hates me shivani hates me as well . Now there is no one stopping me from marrying Vikram but I have a request . Lets keep this marriage a simple affair at least the functions in India "

Kiran went downstairs where both Vikram and her husband were sitting discussing something . ," Sunaina is missing Shivani . Also she has a request . She wants a simple wedding not a lavish affair "

" But Kiran we have only one daughter and then Thakurs too will have expectations because even they have only one son "

" You don't worry about that uncle . I will speak with my parents . We will do as Sunaina wishes . Our wedding will be a simple affair with only relatives and close friends in attendance . We can have a big reception in London "

The next few days passed in a flurry of activities . By the weekend Vikram's parents and his sisters family arrived .

Though the wedding ceremony was to be a simple affair Sunaina's father booked a five star hotel for the grooms family and relatives for their stay .

The mehndi and sangeet took place together a night before the wedding in the hotel only .

The wedding took place in a Gurudwara in Delhi wirh only close family members in attendence . There were about a total of seventy guests in total in the wedding . The wedding was followed by a lunch and then doli .

Their entire families were flying to London the same night where the reception was to take place the next day .

Shivani had been invited but she had refused to come on the pretext of going to her honeymoon.

Sunaina had felt very lonely on her wedding day but she had hidden her emotions well . She had behaved as a robot devoid of any emotion . It was as if she had performed a duty out of compulsion .
