AS FRIENDS

That night Sunaina could not sleep . It was her fault thst Arjun was nursing heartbreak . When she had known from the beginning that she only cared for him and did not love him she shouldn't have accepted his proposal .If she had she should have convinced her parents to agree to her marriage with him .

The second mistake she had committed was she should have clearly explained her situation to Vikram . What was Vikram's fault in this mess ?

Two very handsome and decent guys and she had spoiled their life .

Now she could not reverse whatever had happened but she should at least try to forget her past and start afresh with Vikram .

With this thought in mind she went to sleep

Vikram had crossed his limit yesterday night . Sunaina,s rejection had been too much for him too digest.

His feelings for her were so strong that he had never thought that there was a possibility that she would not love him back .

He was nursing his broken heart with a drink but one drink had turned to two and two to four and he hadn't noticed .

Infact he didn't even know how he had come back to his room .

When he woke up he heard the shower running . It must be Sunaina. At his bedside was placed a concoction of lemon water with a note - this will help overcome the effects of a hangover .

He smiled at the smiley at the end of the note

Just then Sunaina entered the bedroom wearing a dark pink suit looking perfect as a newly wed .

I see my husband is awake . The word husband sounded si pleasant from her mouth .

" Yes Doll and sorry for my behaviour yesterday "

" Its me who was responsible for that behaviour . I should have explained to you before marriage that I needed sometime . You are afterall one of my best friend. I needn't hide anything from you "

" Doll you can discuss anything with me . I am always there for you "

" Vikram can you forgive my earlier behaviour . I would like to remain friends with you . I would like to take one step at a time . Can you give me some time?"

" Anything for you doll . We are married and I intend on remaining married to you my entire life ," saying this he kissed her on the forehead and moved to the bathroom.

As usual his touch left a tingling sensation on her body.
