It is Gurtley and Sia's birthday today and I don't know whose photo I should put as my DP. Since when did I get stuck in such petty problems?

Today in office, I was doing my own thing when Boss Y congratulated me while passing by my desk on the UI of a part of the product. He is the third brother to do so and this one rarely compliments. But honestly, I don't think I can take credit for the UI because I didn't play any role in it.

So there is this new intern who joined us (through influence) and since she is studying computer engineering or something, she knows basic HTML and probably other languages too. For some reason, Boss Y didn't really want her to work on his project so she came to our project but not as an aid to me. So I'm handling a part of this project and initially I was supposed to be a part of the other project (remember I spoke about ideating 2 complete sections of the product on my first day at work?). I did work on the other project for a bit but at one point it got too taxing and I had to let go of one of the sections (the one that was still in the ideation stage).

Boss R then took over that part of the product while Boss H became the one who I had to report to for my part of the product. The new intern created a UI for the other section of the product and if it looks beautiful, it's all because of her hard work. I don't want to ride on someone else's success.

On the other hand, when I told this to Boss Y, he explained to me that I should feel entitled to the compliments because ultimately, everything was under one product. And I should be congratulated if the overall product is showing progress.

I'm not fully convinced with this explanation but I'll take it nonetheless.

I left office early today. Of course not an impromptu decision. I had taken permission days ago. But the reason why I left early was that I finally took an appointment with the eye doc. I think it's been close to a year since I last visited the place and I desperately needed to get my eyes checked for months now.

I reached home and mom and I immediately left for the doc place. They had shifted to a new place so it took us some time to locate it. When we entered the doc's place, it definitely felt like an upgrade. Everything looked much more royal and expensive than the previous place.

While waiting for my turn, a woman came along with her small daughter and enquired something at the front desk. As soon as they sat down, the little girl looked at her mom and went "And just how did you speak with so much love now huh?" [It sounds much better in Marathi (the language in which she spoke) so she said "Ata kashi bollis tu premani?"] LOLOLOLOLOLOL! I couldn't help but laugh at that and I feel so sorry for making the woman feel embarrassed. But it was so hilarious!!

They put some drops in my eyes to dilate my pupils, they always do this. We had to wait for easily 30-45 mins so to pass time, I started singing. Since mom and I were sitting away from the others, I could sing a little loudly but I guess my volume went on increasing cause at one point my mom had to stop me from singing.

As for my eye number, it has definitely increased. I have a really high number now and I'm positively blind without my specs. My doc told to me to restrict my phone usage...... yeah that's not happening.

I went and got new frames. Honestly, I don't think the new ones are better than my current ones but I will have learn how to rock different types of specs. I went for a cheap lens because let's face it, I know my number is going to increase very soon so it makes no sense for me to invest in an expensive one.

After that, mom and I went to try the chicken frankie that had recently opened up near the station. But nope, it's absolutely nothing compared to my normal frankie guy at my work station.
