So we finally got our SY ranks today and I've
Ranked 6th. It's decreased since the last term (where I was 2nd) but it's increased from last year's rank (9th) so I'm not that sad. Out of the two courses I'm pursuing, one of them didn't go well while the other did so I was cool with my rank.

We were supposed to get felicitated, like we usually do, during our townhall but things did not go down well today.

It's a spoken rule that one much stand up whenever the Dean walks into the room. It's a mark of respect. However, today, only 2-4 of us (me included) got up when the Dean came into the room but since we were sitting in a corner, she didn't notice us. What she did notice was that almost the entire batch (whoever was present for the Townhall) was ignoring all the professors' pleas to settle down. That, combined with the fact that no one really stood up for her, upset her way too much.

She told that she's dissapointed with the way we behave and the attitude we have towards the faculty and the institution as a whole. She called us ungrateful and blamed herself for giving us a lee way and being so lenient with us. She doesn't feel like we are ready to enter the corporate world, which is ironically the main motto of this institution.

She was so pissed off with us that she cancelled today's townhall. Along with the rank felicitation, they were going to tell us what all they have planned for us in terms life after graduation. But that didn't happen. The Dean forbade the faculty members from going through with any presentations which they had prepared for us....

To be honest, I do agree with most of what the Dean said. But it angered me to realise that sincere people like me and a couple others suffer because majority of the batch is ungrateful. Nobody gives us any attention or credit. We are always pushed towards the sidelines and considered as snobs along with the others. And it is very frustrating.

The Dean left us hanging and a couple of students volunteered to apologise to her to on behalf of the entire batch but after quite a long time, we came to know that she didn't budge. She instead went to meet one of the visitors who had come to the design campus. Ultimately, the townhall was officially cancelled and they gave us our marksheets and asked us to leave.

Before doing that, Ms. Martha thought it was a good idea to use this situation to her advantage and compulsorily make everyone submit their degree admission forms. However, she wanted all of us to come tomorrow, which is a non-working day for us, to submit. Ironically, I had printed by admission form today morning and was going to submit it after the townhall but was not allowed to.

I was already in a not-so-good mood so this added up to it. I have no idea what I was doing or where I was going for the next 2 hours but eventually I, along with some other people, convinced our new coordinator to collect our forms today itself.

Pretty much a waste of a day and none of it my fault.

At night I found out and played A LOT of BTS related quizzes but boy it needs to stop. I think things are starting to go out of hands now.

I was watching the BTS videos from the either the Fortworth and Hamilton concert and even though I had seen it before, I have come to realise what a powerful song (Outro) Tear. During the performance, the whole vibe of the stage is full of charisma and JHOPE THO! He comes in the end with a bang! The passion with which moves to the the music and raps is amazing! This is definitely one performace I would love to see live. I mean, I would like to watch all of BTS performances live but this one would be like one of the most anticipated performaces for me.

I found a video which showed the whole Wings Concert. I think it was the one that BigHit released on VLive+ but someone posted it to YouTube. I watched a little bit of it and now I need to watch the entire thing before it gets deleted from YouTube.

I also found and saw the first episode of Burn the Stage again. Obviously BTS have insecurities. Now that I'm watching it more than a year after this was filmed, I hope the members have accomplished what they wanted at the beginning of 2017.
