This piece of writing is mostly for myself. I want this to act as my journal. I've always tried to see life from others' perspective. I think it's time to see it from mine. This can act as a rough draft of my life.
If you're very nosy and want to kn...
I needed to take a break from college so I decided to not go today.
Besides I only have 1 hour of class on Thursdays so I won't be missing much. So I stayed at home today.
So I have started watching the World Of Dance Season 2 a couple of days ago (which is currently in its 'The Cut' round) and I want to list my favourites or the acts that I look forward to seeing in this competition.
Junior Team Division: 1. Fabulous Sisters- OH MY GOD these women are charismatic! Their dance seems more of the fast jerky style and I'm living for it. All three of their performances (Qualifiers, Duels and Cut) have been so impactful it's crazy! Definitely looking forward to more from these guys.
2. The Lab- They had participated last year and there was one girl from this group who I recognised from the dance class videos that I used to see. So that got me interested in this group. But they are really good! And this year they seem to have gotten much better! Though I can't see the girl I knew, these kids are doing just a great job. Their execution is so clean for a group!
Junior Division: 1. Sean and Kaycee- I have been following these two for a while now. Well not very recently but I have seen them is SO MANY videos and they are really good at dancing. Really good. And Sean's choreography has always been applauded so it's very interesting to them perform. There's just something so captivating about these two dancers and cannot not support them.
2. Jaxon Willard- I don't think I have seen his dance from the Qualifiers or the Duel but boy his recent performance has BLOWN MY MIND! I'm definitely hoping to see more from this guy cause he is the perfect blend between power, emotion, sharpness and flexibility.
3. Josh and Taylor- I have seen these two in WilldaBeast's video and frankly that's the only reason why I look forward to them. Obviously, they are good dancers but compared to Sean and Kaycee..... not really. And this is a competition so you have to compare. And they got eliminated in the Cut round and I'm not so surprised.
Upper Team Division: 1. Desi Hoppers- REPRESENT! I'm pleasantly surprised and really proud to see these boys in this competition. I know that this is only the second season but the concept of World Of Dance is to pitch the greatest of the dancers against each other and Desi Hoppers is the only Indian dance crew to be here, which makes me so happy! Their dance is entertaining and they also bring in the Indian culture in their choice of music and dance which is so different than what the others doing. They did get eliminated today but that's okay, they did their thing.
2. S-Rank- This group immediately caught my attention because it has Bailey Sok and Josh Price in them. Their choreography is too cool and their formations are amazing! They're so powerful!
Upper Division: No one really. They're all great but I don't think I support any of them.
So the next round is 'The Division Finals' and these acts that I would like to win their divisions are:
Junior Team- Fabulous Sisters Junior- Sean and Kaycee Upper Team- S Rank Upper- Karen y Ricardo (Don't support them but I think they have the best shot at winning this round)
In another (and more familiar) news, BTS performed at the MCountdown show today! I'm surprised because I thought they weren't going to promote this album. Anyways, I have more content to see so I'm not complaining ;)
BTS performed a short version of Save Me and the full version of I'm Fine which I think was absolutely amazing! Ever since the BTS' Highlight reel and posters were released, there's always been a connection being the words 'Save and Me' and 'I'm Fine' both being read by flipping the words. And when I first saw that I'm fine is a track in this album, I new that will relate it to Save Me. But what I hadn't anticipated that they will actually use the same intro as Save me for I'm Fine!
Also their performace OH MY GOD! I already like Save Me's performace but the performance for I'm Fine is on a different level.. so much symbolism! And I liked that transition from Save Me to I'm Fine in this performace today.
