He could see the orange haired boy breathing deeply, leaning over with his hands resting on his knees in exhaustion. He had been practicing for hours because they had an upcoming have against a tough team.
He sighed and walked in, being the only one in the gym other then Hinata. "You need to take a break. I'm not going to let you hurt yourself." He commanded.
"I'm fine." Hinata wheezed out, seeming to hunch down even more. "Just a few more shots and than I'll stop." He lied.
[name] rolled his eyes, putting his bag down and stalking over to the boy. He wrapped his arms around his waist and threw him over his shoulder. "You will rest now."
"Hey!" Hinata whined, punching his back and kicking his legs but [name] was much stronger and taller than him so the hits didn't do much. He gave up struggling when they came to the seats and [name] put him down. "You didn't have to do that."
"If I didn't, you never would have quit. I know you better than anyone else." They had been best friends for years before they had become boyfriends after all. He picked up Hinata's legs and threw them over his lap, taking off his shoes and starting to message his feet. A regular routine.
"Hmm." Hinata sighed in relief, feeling himself become more relaxed as he leaned his head back. "That feels so good."
"I do know your feet pretty well by now." [name] replied as he put a bit more pressure on a part of Hinata's foot that made him groan. "You work yourself to hard."
"I just want to work hard." Hinata grumbled, looking down at his hands. "I'm the weakest on the team, I can't let you's down."
[name] shook his head with a sigh, stopping his work on the foot. "If you didn't have talent than you wouldn't be on the team in the first place. Please give yourself more credit than that. We wouldn't be half as good if you weren't here."
"You're just saying that because you're my boyfriend." Hinata said with a small smile. "I appreciate it but you don't have to lie to me."
[name] stood up, making his way in front of his boyfriend and kneeling down. "I have never lied to you. I wouldn't do that. That's why you should truth me one hundred percent when I say that you are an amazing player and you should give yourself more credit."
Hinata nodded, cupping [name]'s cheeks and leaning down to kiss him quickly. "Thank you."
