"I told you mother, I am fine." [name] huffed out when she continued to ask him a million questions a minute. He understood she was just worried about him but this was a bit much.

He wasn't living at home anymore. He was now at college and he was so excited. It was the start of his adult life. He had been waiting for this moment for years now.

"But I don't believe you will be fine. Maybe I should come there and make sure. You would like that, wouldn't you? To see your dear old mother again?"

"Nice try but no. You are not coming here. You'll just try to drag me home." He laughed, walking into the building where his dorm was. He smiled at a few people walking by before going up the stairway. "I haven't even been away for a day yet."

"I know. I just worry about you." She sighed lightly. "Have you met your roommate yet? Is he nice? Is he treating you well? If not, you now I will come down and have a word with him."

"Calm down! I haven't even seen my dorm yet. Even if we didn't get along. I'm not having my mummy come down and handle it." He reached his dorm room door. It was already open. He moved his way inside, spotting another male already standing in the middle of the room.

Not just any male though. He knew this male all to well. His mouth propped open in shock and he took his phone from his ear, hanging up on his mother, who was in the middle of a sentence. She was going to yell at him for that later but at the moment, he didn't care.

"Momo?" Please don't tell me this guy is my roommate. There is no way I am that unlucky, he thought.

The male slowly turned around and that's when [name] saw, it was in fact his ex boyfriend. They had dated in high school but [name] had broken up with him because he thought he had been cheating on him with a girl named, Gou. It had been a big mistake. Momo had never cheated on him and he was just an idiot.

Momo turned around, his eyes widening with excitement and he sped over to him, throwing his arms around him and hugging him tightly. "I can't believe you're here! And you're my roommate! This is so cool!" His voice was giddy and loud.

[name] was even more shocked then before. He hadn't been expecting this happy reaction. "Hey. It's good to see you again." He replied awkwardly, patting his ex boyfriends back. He wished he could just let himself enjoy the hug instead of overthinking everything. "How have you been?"

"Great! I am so pumped about starting college and now that I've met my roommate, I'm even better. The year has already started in my favour." He leaned away from the hug, smiling up at him brightly. An awkwardness was only surrounding [name]. The other male seemed to be having the time of his life.

The night came quickly and [name] found himself sleeping on the top bunk, listening to the soft snores that were coming from Momo on the bottom bunk.

Maybe Momo had been so accepting of him earlier because he was already over him and had moved on. He probably had another boyfriend as well. The thought made tears come to [name]'s eyes and he rolled over, digging his face into his pillow.

He couldn't cry. He was the reason they broke up in the first place. He had no right to still have a place in Momo's heart and if he had moved on, he should be happy for him.

"You're being ridiculous." He mumbled to himself, the sound being muffled by the pillow. He closed his eyes, continuing to listen to the breathing below him. Like old times, the sound lulled him to sleep.

Weeks had past by and [name] had gotten into a regular routine of going to class, staying at the library to work on school work, coming home late and then going straight to bed.

He was being childish. Doing all this just to avoid his ex boyfriend. He was also doing it because he didn't want to see if Momo had a new boyfriend or not. He didn't know if he could act like he was okay when the dude was around but if Momo did have a boyfriend he had never stayed the night because every time [name] came back, Momo was sleeping alone. He was happy about that.

It was another night where he laid in bed, only he couldn't sleep. There was a storm occurring outside and if there was anything he was truly afraid of, it was the sound of thunder and the sight of lightening. It terrified him and he never got any sleep on these nights.

A crack of thunder made him jump in bed and he whimpered, blocking his ears with his hands. Suddenly, his bed dipped out he looked to the side, seeing Momo climbing up the side and moving into the bed.

"W-What are you doin-" He cut himself off when another blast of thunder rang through the air.

"You think I forgot about how you feel about storms? I'm not going to leave you alone when you need me." He crawled in next to him, getting under the blanket and laying his head on his chest. "Just like old times, huh?"

"Yeah..." [name] looked at him nervously. This was no time to be awkward. He wrapped his arms around Momo's waist and cuddled into him, feeling that little bit better. Momo would always come over if there was a storm to be expected. "Thank you."

"I love helping you." Momo said, tracing his fingers over his ex boyfriends chest. "I missed doing this."

"I, um..." [name] cleared his throat. "I never, I never apologised for what I did. I was the reason we broke up because I was stupid and jealous. I never should have done that and... I'm really sorry, Momo."

"I forgave you a long time ago but if you need to hear me say it, I forgive you." Momo smiled at him, his nose crinkling a bit.

"You shouldn't forgive me. I was an ass hole and you deserved so much better. You still do and I hope you find a guy that treats you right."

"I already have." Momo whispered, crawling further up to look into his eyes before kissing him softly. "I still love you. I'll always love you."

"I still love you to." He whispered back and kissed him again, the sound of the thunder being a light hum behind him.
